- The last video i made had terrible wind noise and i felt like it did no justice to the awesome noises this car makes... so i took a short drive over lunch today and made another video cruising around and talking about the build and why i did what i did with the car.

I use the 2 stroke analogy all the time to describe turbo Hondas haha. Sweet car though do you still have the black 2JZ swapped FD?

Man that thing sound nassssssssssssty 😮. What radiator and fan combo do you have in it?
with a large exhaust turbine and smaller intake turbine it’s quite normal to have lag down low everything up high great for drag strip not great for street cruising, im doing a 66 intake 70 exhaust so the car is more drivable
Very cool car, always liked these....but... having an on/off power band doesn't sound like it's very enjoyable for street use
its not too too bad... the sound and feel of it when its in the power band kinda makes up for the lack of low end.
Nothing feels like a rotary on boost.
So good seeing Seth's old car back up and happy. Good work by Kris for the tuning; it's almost there. Fueling on hard shifts is buttery, as it should be. That turbo is mismatched compared to the original S476sxe which came in significantly earlier and carried out just as far at 776whp at 38psi. Awesome to see this, Joel. Let's work together in the future!
driving the car i dont think the turbo comes on much later at all, it feels really close to about the same in terms of spool time. Also Kris's tune is kinda soft, i asked him to be conservative with it, as i want it to live a longer life. And we were getting close to maxxed out on fuel, so we called it. I am happy with it
@@GrannasRacing just remember that fuel dilution in your oil is a big thing on these cars and try to stay on top of it. If the catch can is filling up and oil smelling like ethanol, lean her out. Kris knows. That's why this thing sounds so sweet on throttle. A little reshape of DBW Throttle curve and slow input transients is all she needs now.
