You can't say that about Montana, Brees, Favre, Starr, Unitas Rogers, or Graham. To be considered Top 5 a QB should have played good enough to help their team win a majority of them, IMO.
A Study done by Chase Stuart at Pro Football Reference determined that Dan Marino gave his team a NEGATIVE VALUE in 10 playoff games and a Value in the single digits in 2 others. That represents 66% of all of his playoff games. The worst part, they determined that Dan gave his team a Negative Value in 3 of his 4 championship games.
Overall Marino's Value was a NEGATIVE 156 in the playoffs. Favre was 302, Warner 422, Staubach 461, Aikman 527, Young 580, Elway 767, Bradshaw 903, and Montana 1,292. There is one guy on this list that was mediocre to bad in a majority of his playoff games and worse than that-he was mediocre to bad in 75% of his championship games.
This study was done from ''66 thru '06 so no final totals for Starr, Unitas, Brady, Brees, etc., etc. Again, Marino was a terrible NEGATIVE 156.

4. Drew Brees
5. Aaron Rodgers
Those are my top five. Rounding out my top ten are Dan Marino, John Elway, Roger Staubach, Brett Favre, Steve Young.
Montana is the MJ of football. He just was "that dude" and he was beautiful to watch. Can't say that about these others. He was poetry in motion and he knew what he was doing at all times
Take away Deflategate, Tuck Rule and the year they cheated the Jaguars with all those phantom calls and Jalen Ramsey saying that they came in the locker room and told them they have to lose to the golden boy. Nothing was ever mentioned about it again.
Yet the Cheifs won 2 playoff games on flags 🤷♂️
And Brady played in the era where defenses aren't allowed to do anything
A great segment. Dan humbling himself is a winning strategy. Joe vs Tom is a tough argument. One had a stud team, the other has a stud coach with longevity. Take your pick, both were great. It's pointless to debate.
The level of disrespect on Peyton Manning is blasphemous 😂
Dan being shocked that Woody & Key would consider taking out Mahomes is what shocked ME. Patrick’s got a LONG way to go before I ever consider putting him the Top 5 all-time. It shouldn’t be a shock that someone wouldn’t put him in the Top 5. He hasn’t played long enough.
My top 5 all Time Q’s
1. Tom brady
2. Joe Montana
3. Peyton manning
4. Aaron rodgers
5. John elway
Marino never played w/a Top 10 Defense - enough said.
However......all them GOATs listed will tell you Dan Marino was THE BEST. I think they know more than all these clowns. FAAAAAAACTS
can’t believe Dan didn’t put Montana in his top 5 based off stats but I get it. Just like my top 5 doesnt have a habitual cheater
Montana
Manning
Elway
Mahomes
Marino
Montana, Brady, Marino, Maholmes, Moon, Manning, DrewB, Elway, Rodgers, Staubach

As a die hard pats fan it's crazy how Dan doesn't even put Montana in his Top 5
1.Tom Brady
2. Joe Montana
3. Peyton Manning
4. Patrick Mahomes
5. Dan Marino
That's my top 5
Dan Marino??? Really??? The guy who choked time and time and time again in the playoffs??? 🤔🤷🏻♂️🙄🤦🏻♂️
Why is finding the Goat so necessary with every football convo today?
That list is horrible and now i see why it’s getting torched every show 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
