Kent!!!!! Thank you so much for showing me how to quilt around the applique square!. I took a course on this same thing at my favorite quilt shop and did one square; however, that was six months ago and I'm finally getting around to finishing the project and I forgot the steps on how you get to the quilting part. I've been looking for that instructional piece on the internet for months. Now I can finish this baby quilt on time for the birth of my neighbor's soon-to-be-born grandson in March. I hope I'm able to view more videos by you showing us other quilting and embroidery tips on this gorgeous Brother Dream Machine 2.
my question about the dream machine is what happens to the designs you create and save in the machine if you somehow can't retrieve them? does it have the file format that allows you to transfer your designs to your computer FROM the machine?
Watched your video and was very excited to see how easy it is to quilt on my Dream Machine. Problem though as I followed everything you did my quilt block did not do as yours did on the instructions. After putting the frame around and choosing my stipple pattern and touching the area it filled the whole frame rather than just the edge of the frame. Do you need the Dream Machine 2 or should it work with the Dream Machine 1 with the upgrade to 2?
This would be a very helpful video if he would tell the viewers which buttons he is touching for the steps. this machine is great if a person is taught how to use all the features. Most of these shops that sell them just take your money and leave us to figure it out on our own. Not helpful!!
@@daniellecomstock8101 Danielle, I do apologize. I did not mean for that to come across as harsh as it did. It's just that when I watch a tutorial, I'm usually in a hurry (aren't we all??) and I get much too impatient. It isn't that the tutorial was not good. It just wasn't what I was looking for. My husband calls me "never wait sue" because I have so little patience. This was totally a personal problem on my part and not a a problem with his video. Please accept my apology.,

I have the original Dream machine and got the first upgrade kit and yes you can quilt the way he did then..it's worth getting if you haven't already!
