I love the way you teach. You go into all the details that most people think us newbies know. I look forward to learning more about my beautiful dream machine
I really love this Video series, I just brought my dream machine home after having it on layaway for over 15 months. I am completely overwhelmed by the machine and frustrated with learning how to use everything. I hope part 4 comes out soon.
Sorry for any delays in getting more videos out, our presenters have been down with the flu for almost a month!! But we are getting back to it next week.
Great Videos! Thank you so much for taking the time to do these videos, I know that they take some time to do with the editing and all. I look forward to the next one!
Thank you so much for your very detailed videos. They have been so helpful with getting me comfortable with the Dream Machine 2. Any idea of when we can expect the next video?
Fantastic Videos, very informative, and well paced. Much better than Brother 's manual. I am in the UK and I've just purchased the Brother V3 which I think is equivalent to USA Dream Machine 1. It is solely an embroidery machine. It is rather overwhelming trying to further my knowledge as there isn't as many videos on my machine, and I am looking forgot watching more of your great videos. Hope all your team are now over the "flu".
Can you explain upgrade you pay for. Must this be done before machine purchase, or can be purchased and installed in the future? How many upgrades are available now and wil there be future upgrades available?
Hi love your tutorials and I am seriously considering buying the brother inov is xv. However, the original dream machine and the updated dream machine 2 are both considerable purchases! I can't find any information what the difference is between the two machines? Can you or anyone else help me please to make my decision? I'm from the UK. Many thanks.....
I assume you already took the hoop out? I would suggest to scan in your fabric, and then lay over the embroidery design you had, delete the part that was embroidered, so that way you keep the part that still needs to be embroidered ?
Ooops! Another question. The lady in my local store that sells this machine says you can take a USB stick with a picture you want to upload into it and turn it into a .pes format. It didn't sound like that from Christa. Can someone clarify?
we all really need to see these videos. when you get to design center can you show how you put usb in machine with jpg and sew this out in design center. I cannot find this even in play book and anywhere online. Playbook says you can do this but does not show it.
I want to see putting the hoop in correctly. I pushed my hoop in too hard one time and moved the hoop out of position for my design. and when I started to embroider the design was off.
That will be covered just as soon as we get the video up on how to bring a design onto a USB and then to the machine. We will then begin the embroidery side of the machine. Thank you for the suggestion!
You get three bobbin cases with the Dream. Two are black and one is light grey. One black bobbin case has a purple dot in the centre inside, that is for embroidery. The other black case has no dot, and that is for sewing. The light grey one is for thread painting etc and meant to be fiddled with in adjustment. I personally use the bobbin case with the purple dot for both sewing and embroidery.

Great videos on thee Dream Machine 2 / Is there going to be a part 4
Absolutely!
Do you have to change bobbin cases when you use pre wound bobbins?
No, the cases that come with the machine will accommodate pre-wounds.
