If the problem where you have M8-1.25 inch studs in the top holes, then get some M8-1.25 NYLOCK nuts using the link below and use the washers that came with the side-step bars.

When ordering from Amazon you need to set up your vehicle in your account. For a Toyota Tundra it asks you for your bed length. Below is how you determine your bed length for a Toyota Tundra.
The bed measures 98.2 inches for the Four Wheel Drive 4WD and Regular Cab
74.7 inches for the SR5 Access Cab and Limited Access Cab
73.3 inches for the Stepside models
74.3 inches for the Double Cab models
Truck bed depth (vertical) measures 19.1 inches for the Step side models, 20.7 inches for the Double Cab models and 17.2 inches for all other versions.

Hey nice step bars. Seems like an easy install. My tundra had the same issue where the top bolt hole was a stud and not a bolt hole location. Glad to know these bars work on first gen as well as the second gen tundras

That is awesome I have the exact same truck only in red! I have been trying for years to find a true wheel to wheel nerf bar, I’m glad I found your page. There are so many “wheel to “wheel” nerf bars that don’t go all the way close to the fender. When I called up some of the companies they said it’s a safety issue that the rear tire can hit the nerf bar. Wtf?! The rear tires don’t move. Do you know if they make chrome or stainless, my truck has stainless accessories, if not these are just as awesome. Thanks man.
