I love the fact that sometimes I listen to metal music, but also enjoy this trip through heaven by listening to this amazing band. Thanks for giving me small sparks of light for the last months of this year.
This music is exquisite. Sometimes it gives you a "too good for this world" feeling. The fact that they are not super famous (perhaps like Joni Mitchell) says more about the times we live in than them.
Thank you for creating such heavenly sounds. My family has a history of telling each other "I love you" with Innocence Mission songs. Can't believe I didn't know about this release before today, but so happy YT knew I'd want to! Karen and Tim have inspired us for years, now they're helping us get through the dark days of pandemic. Thank you and bless you.
Innocence mission is some of the greatest song writing and singing I’ve ever heard. At 25:00 that song sounds so much like the Beatles singing! Damn they sing good!! I give them 5 stars!!! 💙🩵🇺🇸
Big Fan of The Innocence Mission. Me and all the homies vibe out to this. Keep pumping out good shit. The streets fuck with it heavy. -Big Boogaloo From Eastside COMPTON.
Greetings from Atlanta, Georgia, I love ❤ the innocence mission, they came to sing live to a club in Atlanta, Georgia and of course I was there and I love them ever since, hope all is well for you guys. 🙏❤😘✌
Glad to find out this band has lots of devoted fans. I am one of them having recently bought their albums SMALL PLANES ,SEE YOU TOMORROW and SUN ON THE SQUARE. The music sometimes reminds me of MAZZY STAR which is high praise indeed !
I'm sure Erlend Øye and Eirik Glambek are big fans of this album and follow The Innocence Mission closely. The more I listen and enjoy The Innocence Mission the more I miss and realize how much I'd like Kings of Convinience to reunite and release more music. It's been more than a decade...Hope they come up with another treasure for us. Like this 'See You Tomorrow' Love it!

Greetings from the Philippines! 😍 i love your voice so much! I wouldn't have known you if not for my special someone, LK❤, who is also a big fan of yours 😁 hoping to see, hear and meet Innocence Mission in person someday!
OOOOOH NOOO, THEY DID IT AGAIN. I'M FROM HOLLAND. AND I LOVE THIS ALBUM. NORMALLY I LISTEN TO STOCK AITKEN WATERMAN SONGS, BUT SOMETIMES I JUST WANT TO HEAR SMALL PRODUCTIONS AND ARRANGEMENTS AND LITTLE GUITARS AND PIANO'S WITH BEAUTIFUL VOCALS.
Just found out they'd put out a new album two years ago now. Better late than never! Well, I met the band a few times back in college radio days in LI NY here, (they came up to Adelphi Radio station WBAU FM Garden City to do some interviews on-air: sadly, the college shut down the station in 1995 or so) and also saw them play some shows in NYC, one of them at Woody's Bar (Ron Wood's place) downtown, which was phenomenal, seeing them in such a tiny venue. We also were backstage for a huge WLIR FM radio megashow in 1992 or so, the JudyBats, Alison Moyet, and The Innocence Mission. I still have a huge Innocence Mission poster packed away here, signed by Don and Karen, they wrote on it "good luck in college!!" hehe! Hilarious stuff. They were so spectacularly nice, great folks indeed. I also spoke hours beforehand with their orig. drummer Steve Brown, who was likewise a super nice gent. Had dinner with the JudyBats that evening early on, as well. What a weird experience that was, but they were also super darned nice! Always were into the IM but haven't heard much of their last few albums. Need to rectify that. My tape of the first IM album got me through not just a few boring afternoons at my boring college PT job doing microfilming! The Walkman saved my life.
I actually have a JudyBats CD! "Native Son" 99 cents from Goodwill a few years ago I think....lol. Think I bought it for: the price, the cover and the name. Booklet has a hole punch, so maybe it's special. A not for resale perhaps?
Let the streets connect Let red lights give way See, if you would call me I would leave right away And if all the trains arrived I would be there first The clouds that race me might Be trailing in colors over the lawns And out of this song And so high over the world, then So high over the street they're gone From my eyes Now that everything's different I wave to you, do you think You will recognize? And now, I won't be turned around By the long detour, fear, or the fear of fear Or the revolving door And if all the trains arrived I would be there first The clouds that race me might Be trailing in colors over the lawns And out of this song And so high over the world, then So high over the street they're gone From my eyes Now that everything's different I wave to you, do you think You will recognize?
In this house We are mapping songs on the evening walls We put many trees We keep many leaves On the sidewalks Some days we are not sure where we're going How we will arrive Some days we don’t know where we have gone But I'm always on your side I'm always on your side Your side In my dream I would be in Paris with my mom In cafes she would sip coffee She would be smiling on She’d say, I never have let you out of my sight I have not gone She'd say, The light is bright around you now And I'm always on your side I'm always on your side Your side Going on for a very long time Going on for a very long time Going on, going on, going on On your side Some days we are not sure where we're going How we will arrive Some days we don't know where we have gone But I'm always on your side I'm always on your side On your side

Start to finish, a very solid album! Takes me back to my college days. As always, mellow, melodic, and relaxing.

This album is so exquisite. I can't wait for the new one coming out in October. Every album release from IM feels like Christmas.
