I really love her ability to sing about heart break without losing this ironic spark. As melancholic her songs may be there is always a trace and a hint of irony, of playfulness and of hope for true and lasting love.

This album is a life experience, a life examined.
So prophetic - so profound. A perfect album from start to finish... dystopian yet oddly comforting. It was my album of the year in 2017.

This first tune is one of the most lovely songs I've heard in a long while. I rarely comment on things.
Yes, it is. And the melody is repeated, sometimes inverted, other times in dimunition (stretched), through the other tracks, as in orchestral composition. Another comment mentioned hearing it in a loop; that melody is the thread.
This album ends with that melody you're talking about, going full circle.
I love love her voice. She is an Angel. Every since I heared her, I was captivated by her talent and voice and sound. For the life time that we are living, she gives something amaizing into the meanin of this life that we are living and experiencing, something beautiful and wonderful for our souls to feel, carry and give peace to everything.
10. Mountaineers [39:20] strongly reminds me of Dead Can Dance, Brendan Perry's voice and performance.
