Absolute bliss. I remember when I was in my early 20’s, I’d hop in my car and drive into Manhattan, put CD101.9 Smooth Jazz on and just drive for hours into the night. It was so peaceful and relaxing hearing a Saxophone playing amongst the NYC lights.. I wish you all peace, love, and happiness.

I fell in love with the first jazz music without knowing what it was called. I played everything John Klemmer put out. I went to every Chuck M. concert in Seattle. I played a Benson song for my wedding. The list goes on. My baby was listening to smooth jazz long before she came into the world. She still loves an enormous variety of music now. I followed every SJ radio station there was, and then like others discovered, they all just melted away. It's okay though. I still have my albums, cassettes, cds, and now the internet. I found this “video”/sound track about two years ago and come back and listen to it when I need a good vibe. I’ve probably listened to this one, hundreds of times. It just hits the soul for me. As a sax player myself I love the groove.
as a non-sax player... or any instrument player for that matter, this music puts me into a fairy-tale like phase where I see myself playing groovy music on a sax, violin, piano and cello... all at the same time - with my eyes closed! 🎷🎻🎹🎶😃🤣
I told my son to check out Jazz for relaxed driving. Today, he texted me on his long drive home. His dog was restless. He played Jazz and his dog quickly chilled and slept for hours. Now, being an older guy, I was actually talking about classic Jazz greats. I have no idea what kind of Jazz he was listening to, but since he's 31, I'm guessing that he probably chose a modern Smooth Jazz playlist, since he likes Rap, Hip Hop and R&B. But, I'm glad that he discovered the wonderful effects of Jazz which can be simultaneously stimulating and relaxing. I'm only a casual Jazz fan and I know that much.

Thanks, I like your music. I also enjoy cover songs and tributes. I like to see what different musicians can do with the same music. I plan to send this playlist to my kids and also my boss. My boss has a few dogs, and when I told him about my son's experience, he told me about a funny story about a debate that he had with his wife. She insists on leaving Smooth Jazz playing on their house stereo for their smaller dog, which gets anxious whenever the couple leaves the house. My boss says that he can hear the dog scratching the door when they leave and that he knows that the dog just heads straight to their bedroom and stays there for the entire time they're gone. He argues that his wife is just wasting electricity, but if it makes his wife feel better to think that her dog listens to Smooth Jazz, then it's not a battle that's worth choosing. I asked him if the dog could still hear the music from their bedroom. He said, "Yes." I responded, "Then how do you know that the dog doesn't calm down to Smooth Jazz music for at least some of the time when you're gone? So, maybe your wife is right." He replied, "Of course, she's right. How do you think that we just celebrated our 20th anniversary? I always let her think that she's right."

Jazz's just a buzzword, there's plenty of different styles in Jazz, nothing sounds the same besides for the swing/dissonances. That's just the tip of the iceberg, happy diving into this genre.

I remember Listening to Music like this in the 80's - Late at Night after you walked out of a Club - Late Night 2 a.m. - Quiet Streets - a Smooth Breeze in the City Lights - The Smell of Old Cigarette Smoke in your Clothes - the Sheer Silence - Getting into the Car - the Sounds of George Benson, Al Jarreau, David Sanborn - and Smooth Jazz like this. It was our Time - It was my Time - but I still have Channels like this to remind me of what we had - Our Kids will never understand it.
OK, I've listened to all sorts of "smooth jazz" playlists on RUclips but very rarely comment. However, I felt moved to comment on this one right here. Each song just compliments the next. The power in this music genre is too captivating to ignore. Am trying to find words to explain what I mean without sounding crazy. Well, it's like each song tells it's own unique story which interestingly enough seems to continue as one song ends and the other starts. I know someone in this universe understands what am saying. I could literally listen to this all day. I simply love this playlist...I cannot over emphasize that. Sitting on a lounge chair on Jekyll Island, Georgia watching thunderstorms out at sea and enjoying Dr Love Jazz and sipping wine.
I fell in love with the first jazz music without knowing what it was called. I played everything John Klemmer put out. I went to every Chuck M. concert in Seattle. I played a Benson song for my wedding. The list goes on. My baby was listening to smooth jazz long before she came into the world. She still loves an enormous variety of music now. I followed every SJ radio station there was, and then like others discovered, they all just melted away. It's okay though. I still have my albums, cassettes, cds, and now the internet. Who needs a radio anyway! We have Dr. and Mrs. Saxlove right here to take care of us. Love and thanks, stay well, stay safe, from Washington State

I told my son to check out Jazz for relaxed driving. Today, he texted me on his long drive home. His dog was restless. He played Jazz and his dog quickly chilled and slept for hours.
Now, being an older guy, I was actually talking about classic Jazz greats. I have no idea what kind of Jazz he was listening to, but since he's 31, I'm guessing that he probably chose a modern Smooth Jazz playlist, since he likes Rap, Hip Hop and R&B.
But, I'm glad that he discovered the wonderful effects of Jazz which can be simultaneously stimulating and relaxing. I'm only a casual Jazz fan and I know that much.

My boss has a few dogs, and when I told him about my son's experience, he told me about a funny story about a debate that he had with his wife. She insists on leaving Smooth Jazz playing on their house stereo for their smaller dog, which gets anxious whenever the couple leaves the house.
My boss says that he can hear the dog scratching the door when they leave and that he knows that the dog just heads straight to their bedroom and stays there for the entire time they're gone. He argues that his wife is just wasting electricity, but if it makes his wife feel better to think that her dog listens to Smooth Jazz, then it's not a battle that's worth choosing.
I asked him if the dog could still hear the music from their bedroom. He said, "Yes." I responded, "Then how do you know that the dog doesn't calm down to Smooth Jazz music for at least some of the time when you're gone? So, maybe your wife is right." He replied, "Of course, she's right. How do you think that we just celebrated our 20th anniversary? I always let her think that she's right."

Jazz's just a buzzword, there's plenty of different styles in Jazz, nothing sounds the same besides for the swing/dissonances. That's just the tip of the iceberg, happy diving into this genre.

I remember Listening to Music like this in the 80's - Late at Night after you walked out of a Club - Late Night 2 a.m. - Quiet Streets - a Smooth Breeze in the City Lights - The Smell of Old Cigarette Smoke in your Clothes - the Sheer Silence - Getting into the Car - the Sounds of George Benson, Al Jarreau, David Sanborn - and Smooth Jazz like this. It was our Time - It was my Time - but I still have Channels like this to remind me of what we had - Our Kids will never understand it.

OK, I've listened to all sorts of "smooth jazz" playlists on RUclips but very rarely comment. However, I felt moved to comment on this one right here. Each song just compliments the next. The power in this music genre is too captivating to ignore. Am trying to find words to explain what I mean without sounding crazy. Well, it's like each song tells it's own unique story which interestingly enough seems to continue as one song ends and the other starts. I know someone in this universe understands what am saying. I could literally listen to this all day. I simply love this playlist...I cannot over emphasize that.
