- This is a Dolby Atmos Mix I did of an original EDM library track of mine called "Live Up The Night." I wrote and recorded this track about 10 years ago and thought it would be a great song to do an Atmos mix on. If you are listening to the binaural mix at the end of this video, I just noticed how much RUclips is changing the volume drastically by applying some heavy limiting. If you do want to listen the binaural version without the limiting from RUclips, there is a download link for that on the same page as the MP4 download. So if you want to listen in headphones grab that one, unless you have AirPods then grab the MP4 since you can listen on the iPhone with head tracking which is very cool.
Hi Nick, just wanted to say a big thank you for this resource. This really pulls the curtain back on object-based surround sound, and the song in conjunction with the on screen Atmos renderer will become an invaluable tool in tuning theater projects going forward. Thank you for sharing the file, I have Marantz AV10 , what is the best way to test my system, do I need to download this to USB drive and plug it in processor or there are other easier ways,
@@reefingravi7612 It won’t play from the Marantz if you plug it in. Do you a PC or a Mac? PC you can plug HDMI in and if you install the free Dolby Access can play from the computer in Atmos. For Mac you can airplay in Atmos to an Apple TV if the Mac supports internal Atmos playback. Do you have a file player like an Nvdia Shield, zidoo, dune, etc? Any of those will work. Also some of the blu ray players will play back via usb stick in Atmos. I have a list of all the devices you can use on that page with the download link. If you have a TV with eARC you can try plugging stick into TV and running eARC back to the Marantz. Let me know how it goes.
