I like Riccardo, but he’s done nothing to deserve a seat in a long time. Lawson has a lot of upside potential. I’m indifferent to Yuki, but he’s totally outclassed DR this year. I also think it’s a crying shame that Sainz doesn’t have a very strong seat. He deserves it. Perez, not so much.
I completely agree with all that. On merit it should be Sainz instead of Perez. Pity a "world class racing team" can't keep their drivers' fathers out of the running and harmony of the team
Your both right. I expect that Sainz was blocked a seat by Verstappen as the threat of actual competition loomed. If my speculation is correct why would the 🐐 worry about who is the second driver

I love Ric, but I have to agree. He has not really stood out in any significant way. Which is a shame. He has a great personality for F1 and the team.
Liam seems like the better driver over Ricardo atm. Like to see him drive a full season.
But he can't market RB to fans and sponsors as well as Dany.
Does anyone even remember how poorly Liam Lawson was driving? Not saying yuki and Dan have had spectacular seasons but still better than what Lawson would provide. They really need another option

I don’t think Daniels doing anything wrong, Yuki has steep up with Dan being there and has praised him a lot. Dan has scored some points and has finished in the top ten a couple of times the team principal is happy with Dan and this time last year rbr was on the bottom of the table with no points and now are they are having there best season in a long time things are now looking good for rbr.
SP now has a 2 year extension taking him to the end of 2026.
I'd like to see Liam and Yuki move on and drive for other teams where they are appreciated. RB can keep washed up Ricciardo and this new kid Iwasa.

I wanted the best for ricciardo he is one of my fav drivers but he has chance after chance and just can’t get it done. It’s time to move on and let some of the newer guys have a shot.
Having pit crewed in Aussie F3 (admittedly years ago), this vid is soooo much more like a real team conversation, than the hype vids across RUclips. Feedback is VITAL in improving a cars performance. Ricciardo may well be the reason Yuki’s performing and the car is improving. This is what makes a team and why he is still super valuable. Thank you for giving this sort of real team insight… subscribing.
RB and Danny himself thought he would easily dominate Yuki this season. Not so much as it turns out. Time to go im afraid.

Tsunoda needs to go to Alpine, leave RB sphere of influence.

I love Ricciardo, and I understood what made him leave RB, but at this point it's so sad to see him underperform in such a massive way, especially looking back at AT race in Monza that he won.

Mekies surely doesn’t understand he can just stick Liam in and put Danny as a reserve. He rather polish the turd than flush it. man, it's got to be stressful af to be a f2 or f3 driver because making it to F1 is literally all about talent and timing. You have to be good and be good at exactly the right time or you're just shit out of luck. F1 needs more teams.

Ricciardo like a car that has a tendency to over steer but the current cars design has a strong tendency to understeer which dosen't inherently work for Daniel.

Well, Ricciardo beat his teammate today, and is P12 for the drivers standings. He is also helping developing the car....so Id say he is safe as long as he keeps earning the points and adding value to the team.
Yuki is the one that should have go the axe, but unfortunately Honda are still the power plant for one more year, which is why the resigned him. Yuki will be following Honda and that is what it is!
Would love to see Tsunoda in an Audi if Sainz isn’t willing.

If Ricciardo stays in VCARB over Tsunoda then VCARB has failed as a concept. If the idea is to promote good talent to the main team but they don’t promote Tsunoda then how can any RBJR feel confident in VCARB?
Well, Yuki wasn't that big of a talent last year, a bit better now, but not at Carlos level who's also available and faster than Yuki. Maybe they should've hired Carlos for 2 years to main team and let Yuki vs Perez fight it out at vcarb...drop the loser and try winner against best junior driver. The winner of this fight will be in main team in 2027.

Personally, i want to see him stay. Give him another year. People can talk shit all they want but if the team says he's helping then that's just how it is. Also, i feel like people are just talking like Daniel is washed and not giving Yuki the credit he deserves. Yuki has completely leveled up this year. Last year it was a hell of a surprised to see him in Q3 or even the points but this year it's almost guaranteed he'll make q3 and get points. If you want it any different then go buy your own team and quit crying.

Why is the most wholesome and positive driver getting so much hate? Criticism about his performance is fine, but I'm seeing so much personal hatred wich I truly do not understand. Lets not forget that Ricciardo is currently the only driver that was able to compete against Max Verstappen wich no other driver was able to. Neither Kvyat, neither Albon, neither Ocon were able to perform in that way against Max.

Given that most strategy inputs from the Visa Cash App team on race strategy have been coming from Daniel himself. Including the two lines of upgrades including a new chassis over a new wing was a suggestion from Daniel not Yuki. Don't worry 😊 I know you don't want Daniel in the same car of Max. It will be Audi. Max has nothing to fear 😂
