You lady’s are absolutely right that people want to be the steep type or the archetypes they see on TV. Being black or Korean in this matter is bigger than just the physical. It’s ver offensive.
Korean with cornrows? Is that a K-pop thing? You can be what you want in an inorganic/artificial reality. Once you recognize that you are incongruous or inadequate in an organic reality you try and create a new one. Convince enough people you create a new paradigm. The end result...the Metaverse.
If you think he’s portraying the stereotypical Korean then what do you guys feel about Transgender who transition to women being stereotypical women? And vice versa.
for me, i don't think u can compare bleaching and transracialism. simply because bleaching in most societies has to do with achieving a lighter skin tone for the purpose of beauty. it ends there. there usually is no follow-up of "oh yeah my dad's white" or then trying to fit into a different group of people--at least in my experience as an african woman. you also have to remember in a lot of these countries, bleaching is usually as a result of colonialism and the effects it had on people regarding the standard of beauty--not everyone and everywhere of course, but there is a deep history there. transracialism seems to be more of an excuse for white folks to push themselves into minority spaces with complete disregard for those people's experiences and the harmful narratives that they will perpetuate about the communities they invade.
As a transracial black I find this video very offensive. My birth race has nothing to do with my acquired race, I always felt black inside and I have black friends and listen to African music. I also celebrate kwanza.
Translation: You like doing things that are normally done by black people. That's it. What if all the things you like doing and associate with black people were also being done by non-black people? Would you still feel the same? What you are doing is refusing to acknowledge diversity in your own race and to be that trailblazer within your own race that takes an interest in things commonly associated with black people. The idea that some behaviours are black or non-black is a purely synthetic social construct that is not real. Perhaps you are a highly emphatic towards black people which makes you a good person. However, empathy can be given just as effectively whilst keeping your own identity.
Another excellent video!
Intersectionality got people all confused. People are going to start claiming they are a rock or tree next
They already doing that. They identify as animals and everything
SOme do. This mess has even got into schools.
8:15 You're right. Only the West we are codifying this mess as everyone else staying sane in reality.
Unnatural behavior it is a form of self hate And should not allow in our society.
Every beginning has an end. Things are long lived some are short lived.

People trying to change their race is inappropriate. People need to be proud of their group and stop trying to fit in with other people .
If Transgender exists than Transracial MUST exist. No if ands or buts. I can’t wait to live my life being Chinese 😎
