- A compilation of Phil and Celia's railway station announcements at South Western Railway's Portsmouth Harbour, Woking, Basingstoke, Bracknell, Winchester and Weymouth stations before being replaced. I do not own the original recordings.
Phil sayer was and will always be in my humble opinion the best uk train station announcer ever noone else even comes close. Listening to his announcements makes me happy even if I'm feeling depressed

Amazing video! Phil sayer would have done the announcements for the south coast past Horsham to Bognor Regis and Portsmouth harbour.

In the announcement for the 17.46 Woking to Exeter St Davids, why is Crewkerne said twice, but the on-screen text says Crewkerne, (Chard Junction)
For some reason SWR had entered in Chard Junction as a passenger stop (there’s no station there) but Ditra/Amey’s way of announcing something not in the voice bank is to repeat the station before again. It also happened at Exeter when Phil couldn’t say ‘Sampford Courtenay’ so announced Crediton twice.
Question marks exist for a reason...
