To be honest I wasn't expecting a BBC Nordic but these idents are cool and wa17 did a really good job. These idents help boost the branding of the new channel very well.
The BBC Nordic idents have been some of my favorite idents of 2023, and maybe even ever! They're gorgeously shot and designed, and they represent the channel and BBC so well!
It's great to see one of the BBC's international channels getting an ident review, I quite like this episode. 6:57 - Believe me it could be worse. I found shorter versions of the idents that only last for 5 seconds
This is an ident review that I certainly didn't expect! Honestly the weird thing is that I don't really understand why the BBC chose to amalgamate both of their international channels into just one, given that Scandinavia was not the only place where BBC Brit and BBC Earth is available it makes me wonder whether the BBC will soon amalgamate ALL of their international channels into one, maybe soon we shall see a single BBC Poland, BBC Europe, BBC South Africa, BBC Asia, BBC Australia channels........
@@AdamMartyn That would be sad, but at the same time it would also be weird, you see BBC Worldwide, which operates these channels, bring much needed revenue to the BBC as a whole, so I think it would be a bit counterproductive........because in foreign countries these international BBC channels have ad spots, and the more channels, the more ad spots people pay for, the more revenue for the BBC
I can honestly say, apart from the stone ident, I love all of these. Anything that involved a striking use of light really appeals to me so it was lovely to discover these idents 🤩💫

I've got an old UK Gold ident and I've got a feeling it was only used for a short period do you think you could give a year that it's from please or go one better and put a date on it?

The fact that Nordic has better quality idents than us in the UK says something...
These idents are lovely. Always great to see the beeb expanding its reach, too. The water ident is easily my favourite, gorgeous and serene.
The design team did awesome job, that "Stage" one is my favourite.

Probably due to cost cutting sadly!

BBC Nordic idents looks not out of place as also BBC Four idents, If that channel was still well funded well and not filled with repeats of repeats.
