    Dear doctor, your lectures are incredible. I installed EndNote - a fully paid version. Your youtube lesson helped me a lot. How many citations can I put in an article? I wrote a review, and the quotes from 121 were not saved like the previous ones. Thank you ( Neonatologist Dr Peter - Czechia). Kind regards

      Thank you so much for your compliments Dr Petr ☺️.
      For a review article, it depends on the journal that you wish to publish it in. I would firstly check with the journal to see if they have a cap on the number. But as a rule of thumb consider citing 1 reference for every four sentences. Most review articles on pubmed have between 25 to 50 references. I hope this helps sir?

    Thank you so much sir for making this literature search so simple. Please my question is this, you advised that we should never reference any material we have not read, however you said if we see a systematic review we can use such, pls does it mean we can quote such review or we have to go find and get each individual article mentioned in the review that is of interest to us?

    • @PublicHealthResources
      @PublicHealthResources  Год назад +2

      Great question Dr, it is okay to reference the systematic review as a whole (it’s results and it’s conclusions) but if you want to make reference to specific findings in any of the individual articles used for the systematic review, then it is safer to see it before you reference it. I hope this helps ☺️

      Great question Musa, you can use Google Scholar too, it has an advanced feature pretty similar with Pubmed. I will be releasing a video on how to use this too God willing. 👍
