    Dresrosa have you ever heard of linear time? It is the simplest type of time travel upon which it is explained that no matter what one does to change time it is impossible to do so, as all of time was already predetermined at the beginning of time. This would mean that time travelers wouldn't break time as they were already determined to travel back in time when the universe was created.

    • @UselessConnor
      @UselessConnor 5 лет назад +8

      Saiyan It would be ironic and quite sad if Eren replaces Ymir as he would be giving everyone freedom from the Titan curse but he’d pay the ultimate price of sacrificing his freedom. It’d be a rather bittersweet ending and who knows I could be completely wrong with this one.

    • @TheofficialPr0
      @TheofficialPr0 5 лет назад +4

      @@UselessConnor I thought about that too and it might actualy be a good ending. It would show how far Eren has developed as a character from a selfish kid driven and blinded by hatred to commit the ultimate selfless act and letting go of his ideal ( freedom) and give it to all eldians. Another think i thought about is trying to kill Ymir and destroying the coordinate, Zeke and Eren could 2v1 Ymir and that sounds fucking epic haha. If Ymir is dead nobody can build titans anymore problem solved. I don't think Ymir can stay alive without titans existing and that's probably why no previous foundong titan owner ordered Ymir to stop making titans. Maybe Ymir is not the helpless slave we are meant to believe she is and how did she end up here in the first place, why is she killing of titan shifters after 13 years if she has "SO MUCH POWER", her powers seem to have a limit. Theres a bigger plot twist waiting for us in the next 6 months im calling it, might have something to do with the "devil" and he might not have a presence in the real world but only in the minds of Ymir and founding titan holders. What is the "devils" motivation? Idk. Actualy killing Ymir might create a paradox because they are in this place outside of time. They would basicaly be killing their creator

    If Ymir is to become an actual character rather than just a plot device, I think we will have to explore her story, aka, how she got the power.
    Does AOT need time travel? I don't know, but it already HAS time travel. Whether they change the past or not, they are sending information backward through time - which by defenition is timetravel.
    I see you are still fixated on multiple time lines. Unless I see proof to the contrary, I don't think AoT time travel works that way. Please see my comment on your previous video if you wanna see where I stand on this matter.

    Bro, my theory is that....
    Who will replace Ymir? of course another Ymir. And that Ymir is Historia's baby (named after Ymir the Jaws titan that she loved). I'm sure that later on, Isayama will reveal that Ymir's father is Eren. I also think that Ymir keeps repeating the loop because she wants to see her father (Eren) every 2000 years. Since she didn't have a chance to see him because, one must be consumed in order to gain its titan powers.
    Also I have a theory that, the "Devil" who gave Ymir the titan power is Eren (her father). After Eren ate all the titan shifters, he fed himself to baby Ymir, and that's also the reason why Ymir is a child trapped in the paths because she died early due to titan curse. Ymir then possess the power of all titan and a royal blood (since her mother is Historia) to protect the Eldian race. After the death of Ymir, the titan powers will scatter along all the newborn Eldians. And the Founding titan ability will be inherited by a baby in the Marley continent named Karl Fritz and soon will be a king then command majority of the Eldians to migrate in a small island called Paradis..
    The loop continues...

      Marley won't able to kill all Eldians in Paradise if path destroyed because Paradise got Hizuru and Mikasa. If Marley still attack Paradise after Eldians no longer able to become giants then the world rally that form by Tybur will backfire to Marley via Hizuru because entire world would notice what's Marley real agenda which is to get ice burst mineral so that they can have a big lead against others Nations in term of military tech and with it Marley will remain oppressing the others Nations. Paradise minerals will be the key for Paradise to achieve diplomacy with others nations. It's failed before because no one ever dare to trade with them because they always thought Paradise as the land of the devil except Hizuru. 100 years history there is no others nations ever attacked Paradise except Marley since they got Tybur because they afraid of Wall titans while Marley with Tybur keep attacking others nations because they have cheap reliable weapons which is Eldians and since only Marley have the power of 9 titans they are the only nation that ever attacked other nations. So in conclusion if titan path is destroyed then Marley military strength only able to defend itself against the others nations and Paradise will stay safe from any attack from any nations and the only way for the other nation to get the minerals is by trading with Paradise thus would mean entire nations will be in good term with Paradise. If there's a nation that get greedy by attacking Paradise for its minerals alone the world surely will rally against them or if Paradise without titans power anymore get greedy by not trading with others nations then the world will also rally them then huge chaos happen between nations just to find out who's get the right to own Paradise minerals and this situation would be called AOT world war. This is how i see the others nation plot in the story since no reason for Hizuru and Mikasa to be introduced to the story if it wasn't for this.

There's no bloody way all this titan mass could just be formed in an instant and disappear in an instant when every other titan transformation in the series takes a bit of time. @Private Weaver Then where did the fog steam come covering Eren vision? If Berthold left his titan without evaporating his titan remains should left there but not he evaporate within his titan and this is similar like when Bert fall on Eren and Reiner before just the steam impacts scale difference. I've seen Collosal emitting steam slowly at the cost of its flesh so if it can do it slowly mean doing it faster is not an issues.

    thinking about how time travel work in other stories and applying it in AOT is what is confusing ppl. how the writer is applying it in AOT is different, paths, and memories work in an atemporal manner like God, when it comes to the shifter, memories, and paths are preordain. nothing that would cause a paradox in this one timeline is going to happen because it already has under the titan paths since it exists outside of time itself. the moment Yimr made that deal and got those power the beginning and the end (if there's an end, to begin with) of paths have already been decided for her and her subject. we the viewer are just enjoying the ride on how they got there like a roller coaster.

    I can't see Eren becoming a slave, he'll probably use the rumbling and take all the titans away by destroying the coordinate.

    time travel will be fundamentally incomprehensible up to the moment we invent it in real life so I think it's a waste of time to try to explain it like they do in avengers endgame or like fans did after seeing the movie

    The things people will do to believe Eren is the hero after he slaughtered thousands of innocents in Liberio and got his friends and soldiers killed and turned into titans even when we don't even know what his endgame is.

    I think the paths will be destroyed, the memories like you said are benevolent to time and can't be manipulated like a lucid dream unless directly influencing the people in those memories

    I have a theory. I think the only way to prevent the Eldians from turning into titans and eliminating the loop is by destroying the paths completely. Because think about it. The paths are what connect the Eldians to ymir via memories will flesh and bones right? So if we destroy the paths then no more titans. No more time loops.
    I don't know how Eren might achieve this but that seems like the only way to end this whole ordeal and the Eldians can be free

    I think it doesn't, if your show doesn't start as time travel then it shouldn't implement as it complicates things, I'm ok with eldians being connected and getting some glimpses of the future, those are memories, and its within the ruleset in aot, the paths that have been hinted since ymir's backstory, tho its a very trippy concept it doesn't hurt the story

    The story did not need time travel to be resolved. I actually would’ve preferred it to being heavily implied as it had been the entire story instead of becoming a plot device. It feels rather contrived and flat out tacky at this point in the story. I think it would’ve been much more fulfilling as the reader to understand that time and memories function a bit more loosely than we initially thought instead of having time travel and uno card gotcha moments between the jeager brothers. I remain hopeful because I have not been disappointed by the story up until now, but I am honestly disappointed that the story is crossing over into a bit of science fiction time travel territory. Especially because I initially thought it would’ve focused its themes of “ the cost of freedom” and the “freedom of choice” to carry it the rest of the course. It’s a very sudden tone shift and I find it while not unwelcoming, still rather unnecessary. Like I said tho, I’m hopeful yams won’t yiff the ending to high fuck and cause what may be the most rabid disappointment in anime history since NGE
