"eren when i get back i'll show you what i've been keeping in the basement" In that scene eren wanted to go outside the walls and be free, and grisha saw the parallel between eren and himself as a kid and promised to show him a secret that he himself came from beyond the walls, Never got the chance to, but the fact that he wasn't talking to eren the kid out of his own volition but because eren the adult compelled him to, birthing the curiosity of the basement which led to eren at the time unlocking all those memories, this whole thing was set up by eren from the jump. So seeing that erens character development was guided by his own self is an interesting take
Still not sure how to interpret that chapter if I'm being honest. I understand he has the ability to see the future, that Grisha acted out of seeing something from the future. But people thinking there is some time loop here, from a parallel separate dimension? Its a stretch to me. Also, it was nice to hear what Eren said to Grisha there, but I'm still not sure that was more symbolic for Zeke, than literal for Grisha. I know Grisha saw something from the future to make him kill the Reiss family, but I doubt it was Eren's words there. I'm not sure I buy into the whole "Eren controlled everything" here. Sure he may have indirectly guided Grisha through future memories, but Eren didn't purposely transmit those memories from the future. If he could control past events like that, he would've done more to save lives, like his mother for instance.
@@CHRISCAMPO-wq8bi the way time works in this, erens mother was already dead. There was mo chance of him being able to get this far if he tried to have grisha save her. Cause the reuss would be aware that a titan shifter was in their midst this whole time and take further precautions. As for the memories, the events of the past had already been lived out. So how could eren have set it up from the future? After seeing the paths dimension it makes sense. Paths transcend time and space. Anything that happened in the future can exist in some capacity in the past and things of the present and affect the future so on. So it's safe to say that much of what's happened in AOT was preordained, not just by eren but also ymir, king fritz etc. I dont buy time loop theory. Given that memories are melded through past present and future it's most likely the case that eren from the beginning was influenced by things he didnt know he knew. When grisha killed the Reiss family, that was all eren. If you see his eyes when he sent those memories it looked like the founders eyes eith a line going across it vertically. Almost like it broke the seal of king fritz. Given that the attack Titans power was meant to combat king fritz ideology two things are possible: 1) the attack titan never existed until after the war renunciation Or 2) someone from some time in the past knew fritz would do this and created the attack titan.
