    "eren when i get back i'll show you what i've been keeping in the basement"
    In that scene eren wanted to go outside the walls and be free, and grisha saw the parallel between eren and himself as a kid and promised to show him a secret that he himself came from beyond the walls, Never got the chance to, but the fact that he wasn't talking to eren the kid out of his own volition but because eren the adult compelled him to, birthing the curiosity of the basement which led to eren at the time unlocking all those memories, this whole thing was set up by eren from the jump. So seeing that erens character development was guided by his own self is an interesting take

    • @CHRISCAMPO-wq8bi
      @CHRISCAMPO-wq8bi 5 лет назад +6

      Still not sure how to interpret that chapter if I'm being honest. I understand he has the ability to see the future, that Grisha acted out of seeing something from the future. But people thinking there is some time loop here, from a parallel separate dimension? Its a stretch to me. Also, it was nice to hear what Eren said to Grisha there, but I'm still not sure that was more symbolic for Zeke, than literal for Grisha. I know Grisha saw something from the future to make him kill the Reiss family, but I doubt it was Eren's words there. I'm not sure I buy into the whole "Eren controlled everything" here. Sure he may have indirectly guided Grisha through future memories, but Eren didn't purposely transmit those memories from the future. If he could control past events like that, he would've done more to save lives, like his mother for instance.

    • @ThePreciseClimber
      @ThePreciseClimber 5 лет назад +2

    • @kazama195
      @kazama195 5 лет назад +1

      @@CHRISCAMPO-wq8bi the way time works in this, erens mother was already dead. There was mo chance of him being able to get this far if he tried to have grisha save her. Cause the reuss would be aware that a titan shifter was in their midst this whole time and take further precautions.
      As for the memories, the events of the past had already been lived out. So how could eren have set it up from the future? After seeing the paths dimension it makes sense. Paths transcend time and space. Anything that happened in the future can exist in some capacity in the past and things of the present and affect the future so on. So it's safe to say that much of what's happened in AOT was preordained, not just by eren but also ymir, king fritz etc. I dont buy time loop theory. Given that memories are melded through past present and future it's most likely the case that eren from the beginning was influenced by things he didnt know he knew. When grisha killed the Reiss family, that was all eren. If you see his eyes when he sent those memories it looked like the founders eyes eith a line going across it vertically. Almost like it broke the seal of king fritz. Given that the attack Titans power was meant to combat king fritz ideology two things are possible:
      1) the attack titan never existed until after the war renunciation
      Or
      2) someone from some time in the past knew fritz would do this and created the attack titan.
      Either way theres no loop, but time is not linear for eldians

    • @kazama195
      @kazama195 5 лет назад +5

      @@ThePreciseClimber I think it strengthened it. Remember vrisha gave up. Originally with Zeke he was like eren season 1, just wants revenge. Then he learned from his mistake, or so we thought. He still pursued his revenge but got sloppy wanting to live a complacent life with his new family on borrowed time. When he had to take out the Reiss he also gave up but eren convinced him to go through with it. Remembering his sister. Grisha never really changed, that IS his character development. He wasnt supposed to change, when given the opportunity he lived a causal life raising eren, did he though? He worked tirelessly as a spy to find the reiss. When given the opportunity to take the founder he gave up but remembering his sister and what could happen in the future, he slaughtered them. Grisha never changed he wasnt supposed to.

    I think that the beginning of the story being so weak played a huge role in my whole experience. Clash of Titans arc in such short amount of time changed the story from avarege battle fantasy into a mature character drama and it suprised me by a lot. It was like Isayama knew, what i wished Attack on titan would be in season 1, but on the other hand he definitely planned it all from the start. This series year to year just keeps getting better, and it never dissapoints. It is for sure my favourite manga and i view it as a perfect work of fiction. The upcoming finale can go either way, but i think we all know it's gonna be incerdible.

    Attack on Titan journey's been amazing. I love reading it .
    When I first watched anime of attack on Titan I dropped it in Midway (Don't know reason).
    Many months later in RUclips channel I found comparison between attack on Titan manga vs anime.
    This was the first time I came to known about term 'manga'.
    I watched the whole season 1. But then I checked out manga from the very first chapter (from the other manga I found attack on Titan more readable) to the latest chapter which was 105 . I found it very fascinating what Eren was became the story shifted into something which lives up to my expectations.
    I have thinking about this watching other anime shows that attack on Titan will be define by it's journey and good ending.
    (Many other shows have that cliche ending I want something different in a
    sense that missing part of my life can be fulfilled. )

    I always say this when someone grows, but I am so proud of Isayama. Of course, Attack on Titan was pretty cool in the early stages in terms of artwork, storytelling, and character development. But now? It's like some of Kentaro Miura snuck into Isayama's brain (key word: some). At first, it was just a good action series, but so many things have happened that puts Attack on Titan in a different state. It's like Fullmetal Alchemist, Death Note, or nowadays, Vinland Saga. Stephen Forrest no mate you clearly don’t understand attack on titan. The whole point is that there is a very big moral grey area. He isn’t bad he’s just getting revenge and protecting his friends and then there’s the rest of the world who attacked the walls for no reason, Eren would be considered a bad person in OUR world but in attack on titan he’s a good person because the attack on titan world is cruel and the world forced him to do it to survive

      The story got sophisticated for some normies that just enjoy a linear plot etc my hero academia. They don't understand greatness

      @@eternaleffect2499 Reminds me of Eren haters lol they developed some "reason" to hate him back then and then ignored all the positive developments he had, both big and small, and these changes go as far back as season 1, when they just thought he was a shallow angry crybaby. He was never shallow even back then lol

    Attack on Titan is just an absolute masterpiece. I haven't liked any other series / anime this much, expect maybe Breaking Bad.

    As much as the artwork and the overall story never stopped improving, I feel Isayama's biggest weakness is the panel composition and it actually got worse recently. Until the Marley arc I could still enjoy the fights, but in this final arc the panel composition of the action scenes is so boring and uninspired that I can't get any excitment from them.
