- This Hyundai Veloster has seen better days and is absolutely disgusting on the inside with the outside certainly not in good shape. Today, I am going to be ripping apart the interior to clean the inside and make it new again. All of the mold, food, dirt and everything else I find will be restored back to new. Man one look at that car and I wouldn't have touched it. If it's that dirty and beat up then you know they definitely never bothered with maintaining the vehicle.....rather risky investment.
I wonder if after the car is given back to the owner the car goes back to the original state it was in within the week?!!
Personal habits are hard to break so I would guess a week to stay clean! Any other guesses ??
That's QUITE a transformation. Awesome
The Veloster is a fun little car. It's fairly comfortable, the sound system is good, and the most important thing is it uses standard Hyundai drivetrain which is cheap to work on and common, at least where I live. Also I struggle to think of another car that has asymmetric doors layout short of vans.

Like to know how often a interior needs to be cleaned? I thought about cleaning my interior once every two weeks. The previous owners smoked cigars. I don't smoke period. I took plain hot water in a two gallon bucket and a microfiber washcloth and cleaned half of my Camry's front interior. It turned the water dark brown. I don't know what this stuff is. This coming Wednesday is going to be a warm day so I'll clean the back half of the Camry. After the front half of the Camry was cleaned it seemed to be much brighter in color and that was just with hot water and a microfiber washcloth.

Put a little fabric softener in your extractor water. It will cut down on the large amount of suds and will actually condition the carpets and fabric.
Any LED light underneath? Might be what that switch is for!

When you clean seats that are heated, how do you ensure the water doesn’t ruin the heating element?
9:22 I had something similar in my old car, it was an actual switch that was designed to go in a car though. I’d almost bet money someone had a sound system in there and the switch was used to turn on and off the amp so it’s not running every time you drive.
Why make a trash can out of a car? The guys did a good job cleaning everything, good job!
