Lance Armstrong was a world class athlete at 16 years of age, had the highest levels of physical ability as tested by top notch physiologists, and talent is measured by many other variables besides physical talent. Lance's mental abilities made a mockery of Jan. The proof is in the pudding as Lance is fond of saying.
nice job.........i have the shure that if jan didnt waited for armstrong on the luz ardiden and didnt had the bad luck on the time trial e had wone the e tour de france of 2003 and broke armstrongs hapiness thats my opinion and i think its the opnion of all jan fans congratulations you have done it an exelent work.
Oh, did I mention that Jan got caught doping and Lance even now, with the knowledge that samples may be pulled at anytime in the future came back after three years off and still made the podium.
Lance had the Better American Hightech Dope and the better teammates. Ulle was to lazy in training. So how he can win? For me its a wonder that he was so close all the time.
@DwyaneWade1995 i agree, i was and still am his fan, but we got to agree, he wasted 80% of that talent.... and if ulle had joyned the CSC squad back in 04, with bjarne hiis in comand, he would be a real treat to lance domination.

Ullrich never had a team...it was just guys dressed in the same kit. plus armstrong had super domestiques ie hincapie
