The cider donut machine at the Apple Harvest Festival in Ithaca, NY

A quick peek behind the scenes at the apple cider donuts machine, operated by Littletree Orchards at the Annual Apple Harvest Festival in Ithaca, NY. I know them from the Ithaca Farmers Market, where they sell donuts, apple cider, cider slushies, hot cider and artisanal apple cider vinegar from corner booth 21. Definitely worth the visit, but early in the day, as the donuts nearly always sell out!

My home church has one of these on a smaller scale. Used once a year, it still takes many hands to make sugar and box the orders on " donut day".

Somebody had one of those out on LI and my EvilExRoomate used to make me drive out there with him, to this drive thorough Dairy Barn to get donuts and cider when the mood was on him. Good mamories. RIP Rickey.
