My android TV box came with android 5.1. It is OTT TV BOX MXQ PRO 4K it has 1gb ram and 8gb rom. It's board is S905Q_V1.0. It's wifi device is REALTEK 8188 ETV. It's flash memomry is Sandisk P545105231. I have windows 7 64bit and I'm using USB 2.0 port. Usb burning tol gives me error at 8%. ([0x30402004]UBOOT/Partition boot/Initialize partition/Error result). Could you help me?

TWRP has being built for only a small amount of these devices - have you tried all variants we show - Some box's come with a inbuilt app that allows you to backup your file - you could also try a app called rashir, this may help you do a complete system backup
It would make more sense, and also be much easier, if the programmers behind the Amlogic USB Burning Tool would include a backup feature. I'm sure it's possible to do. It would be much, much easier and faster to do. Only takes a few minutes to flash a device with USB Burning Tool, therefore it should take about the same amount of time to make a backup image. Not that the method in the video is particularly difficult, it's just more cumbersome if you have to manage several devices for larger deployments. Like a reseller who sells customized boxes for a target market or a particular type of customer base.
Yeah unfortunately this is Amlogic we're talking about. They are rather useless when it comes to this sort of thing, bare minimum effort to support their products.

Most likely u-boot is hosed... If you open up the box, and look on the board, there should be a UART header with a RX and a TX pad. If you solder wires to those, along with a ground wire, you should be able to hook it up to a serial port on a computer (RX > TX and TX > RX). Once that is done, start a terminal emulator on the serial port you are connected to with baud rate 115200,8,n,1, and then plug in the power on your box. You should see text flowing on the serial port console. If it's garbled, the baud rate is wrong, try something like 38400 instead. Now once you are setup, plug in power and immediately press ctrl-c a few times in the console window. It should give you a u-boot shell prompt ("# "). Put in your SD card, and type in 'run update'. It should boot from SD card. Not sure if TWRP backs up and restores u-boot though, it doesn't seem to at first glance, so you may need to flash the stock firmware in via USB and Amlogic Burn Tool instead (and no SD card inserted), which will restore the bootloader along with the stock firmware. Usually only one of the USB ports works for this. You just follow the same instructions but without a SD card and with a USB port connection, and once you 'run update' you start the update from the computer side.

I don't know what is DTB but I have tried booting from SD every recovery.img file listed below 'AMLOGIC S905X DEVICES - TWRP' in description. Only one of them (I don't remember exact one) boots into TWRP but there's no internal storage detected.
