When I was in Vietnam I tried to order the Plymouth Duster but I couldn't get it financed because my allotment was not approved as I could not come up with the down payment for the car. I tried to borrow the money but my buddies weren't interested in getting their money back in payments. When I rotated back to the states the Army lost my payroll information and I lost several cars because I could not get paid my monthly check, it took 6 months before I actually got paid and I had to pay my parents back for the loans I took from them!
My first car in 1975 was a 72 Duster identical to this one. Minus the go wing on back and the interior was black buckets. But mine was a 1972. Same color. Same 340 and 4-speed. I was only 16. I modded that car out and in Kannapolis NC in the late 70s I street raced it. Surprised quite a few big blocks. Ford, Chevy and Mopar fell to this 340 terror.
Car is beautiful, I have 2 1971 Duster one tor-red other same as yours vitamin C. I dont like the cragers or the Hurst emblem on your dash but everthing else gets my 100% approval
Same here, hate to admit but I like the bench seat option better then the buckets, those are usual origanlly equipped with the three speed manual cars, my bro had a 69 nova with a bench, 4 speed & 454👍
very clean duster but from watching this video im thinking its a 71 duster . its got the 71 style interior, shark tooth grille , 71 stripes on the sides and chrome exhaust tips. the tailpanel stripe and the 1970 style go wing are the only things i see from a 70 duster. too bad they didnt show fender tag . lol

Put the original grille back. Can't blame u for using the 71-72 as it looks the best of all Duster/Demon/Dart Sport Grills. Probably the cheapest steering wheel ever made by any car manufacturer--just a big hunk of molded plastic.
Did not have a sharks tooth grille or 340 side stripe until 71.engine label under hood on fender wrong color and engine wrong color with incorrect valve covers and breather.....
That is one immaculate Duster 340! In my opinion Dusters and Demons don't get the props the deserve.

Aldo DB Actually it is the 71 grill. The 70 model was a plain Jane black with the Plymouth logo in the middle.
Yes I meant to say it's a 71 grill, they are selling this as a 1970 so it's not the right grill for that year of Duster.

Very nice but 1. No fender tag, and 2. Get rid of those ugly Cragar wheels, put OEM Rallyes on it. 3. Use OEM valve covers.
Car looks good but you can see you got some rust on the very on the driver side on the rear of the quarter panel little pets it’s on the rocker
