Did you know Jacob actually directs all the music videos for Thornhill too? In an interview he talked about the struggle of directing and starring in them, and I love the creative freedom that it gives the band!
Casanova is by far my fav Thornhill song and probably one of my favourite Songs of the last 2 years! It has a catchy chorus, it's heavy, yet groovy & not too heavy. The bridge/breakdown is amazing. The mix and the Video too! I can't wait for more Thornhill, they're one of my fav bands in the metalcore scene. And Heroine is one of my fav albums of this decade already. And I know they're not metalcore anymore. They're baddiecore and I love it.

Where We Go When We Die would have to be my fav track of theirs... however I usually listen to the entire of the dark pool from star to finish as a single piece of music. They kinda lost me with most of their stuff since then, but this is bringing me back in. Has just enough dirtiness to it to butter my biscuits. Keen to see what else they have cooking....
It's so hard to pick one song from Thorny, I've discovered them with Reptile and Butterfly EP and all their records were so good in their own way. I think one of my fav might be Coven or Raw. Really digging the new shift of sound in this one and Viper Room, gonna see them next week i'm so stocked

Lily And The Moon, with All The Light We Don't See for The Dark Pool and Arkangel for Heroine. I have been listening them for a couple of days now and I'm seriously in pure obsession with them (LOL). I was right away blown away by The Dark Pool and the sound in it. This mix of technical modern Metalcore with Jacob's freaking vocals, echoing during each song, and such interesting melodies and chords progression. So at my first listen of Heroine, I really wasn't feeling it at all. It was such a departure from impressing sound of The Dark Pool. So I went first of all back to the singles and understood the new direction, relistened to the album and now I'm in love with both records, as well as Obession and Viper Room. Loving the visual style and characters they went for.
