There’s no question you have to be the best stylist on RUclips! Others do nothing but talk about styling but you actually SHOW us what to do to make it better!! I know these types of videos must take so much of your time but I also want you to know how much they are appreciated. Looking forward to anything else you produce !

The problem is that, with the years, our figures and our faces change.
We have to rethink constantly and leave our previous style behind, and that`s extremely tiring and anything but easy.
Melissa, Your tips are priceless. THANK YOU VERY MUCH❤

I've already watched the video twice through. I can see instantly how much better the outfits look on the right, and really, they are simple things that anybody can do. I know that I have dressed like the left side, and, didn't really understand where I was going wrong. So, I agree with everyone else. This was a great video and very helpful.

This was amazing! I’ve just accidentally bought an oversized sweater (online sizing is… uh… yeah) and I love it and I’m keeping it but I look sloppy in it with my camper/hiker baggy favourite pants. Add a belt, tuck the sweater in the front, roll up the sleeves, add a string of pearls and pearl earrings and… wow. I look so… me. ❤

I laughed as I watched your segment about the dressing room and wearing socks. When I take my sister shopping ,which she hates to do, she always wears something impossible to try on clothes with such as a big bulky sweatshirt. I am guilty of wearing socks because it’s always cold here but taking them off to try on clothes works.

I'm rebuilding a wardrobe after weight loss, and I'm trying to figure out age appropriate and casually stylish, having been strictly a jeans wearer all my life. What I especially enjoy is when you style those of us who have less than perfect bodies. This video is awesome! I love that you provide so many examples of what's going wrong and how to fix it - multiple ways. It's really making me think about the hourglass goal. I have more of an apple shape right now and even though I've thought about slim shapes to not add bulk in the middle I hadn't really considered how much shoulder pads might help. I also appreciate that you really went into shoe choices as well - I really haven't put enough effort into them : )

Great looks! I was able to dress up a bit on New Years Eve for a 90’s prom theme. Luckily I was able to “style” a current slip dress making it seem period. It’s probably one of my most versatile pieces dressing it up or down besides being super comfortable.

New subscriber and so grateful for your refreshing practicality! Now in my mid-40s and changing job roles, I'm literally left overhauling my entire wardrobe. I was losing heart (and money) after 100s of stylist videos insisting that if you're not buying a Balmain blazer, Gucci loafers, and Hermes, LV or YSL bags, you might as well give up because you're wearing trash and "you're just going to look basic and cheap." I want quality and longevity, but simply cannot pay thousands for one article of clothing (especially when next year "that's totally out"). *THANK YOU* for making it ok to buy our "investment pieces" from places like H&M, and for being honest enough to admit that clothes can be classic and long-lasting without costing a fortune. Your advice for imperfect bodies sold me completely. I've made great changes already with your help and unsubscribed from channels pushing extravagant luxury goods as fashion for everyone--especially when many of them were gifted their own high-end pieces. 🙄

Brilliant video, thank you. It is so useful when you show a close up of the shoe style as matching shoes to an outfit is something I find tricky. Love all your videos x

I haven't seen anyone look really good in ankle grazer pants, even when worn so beautifully styled by you. I really hope it;s a very brief fashion.

They’ve been around for at least 5 years already, if not longer so I think they’re here to stay I’m afraid but longer, flares bootcut jeans are a great alternative

Fenomenal video. So very Incredibly helpful. Really appreciate how well you explain everything and how you make us all love our bodies. Would love a video on how to style one same look depending on different body shapes. The little tricks that different body shapes would use to something work. Shoes and different jeans was sooooo useful!

Thanks Melissa, what a great start to the year! Would you be able to share some tips on styling work/casual dresses with opaque tights Pls? I usually wear black tights to work with my dresses and skirts(to keep warm in the winter) and sometimes I just know something's not looking right..

@@mmpersonalstyling Very❣️❣️❣️I need to watch it again and again and take notes, because I am still stuck on the left side, but I don't want to buy all new wardrobe, especially that I don't even know what to buy to make it more modern and stylish. With all your tips I will be more aware what is a good buy vs what should I avoid. The same with putting the outfits together. I feel so lucky that I found you, and I have the same exact body type as you so that is a double bonus for me, because I can just copy you🤗❣️❣️❣️Plus I love your style, and you look great in everything that you wear❣️Thank you again.

I’ll be watching this one on repeat & adding to my accessories. They’re definitely key to a finished elevated look. Look forward to lots more videos throughout 2023 ❤️

Love this video! More please. You used an outdoor long coat several times to make the outfit work...but how do you make outfits so that when you take the coat off, it still looks well proportioned? 90% of the time I am not wearing a long coat, certainly not indoors all day. I only wear coats when shopping or outside. Thanks!
