    Really cool man. My earliest issue is 249. You have some I still need to get, like 271, 324 and several others. I did pick up Tales to Astonish 90 (1st Abomination) last year though for cheap. Thanks for sharing.

    Great collection! I started collecting around issue 295, because I was noticing the corner box with scientist Hulk looking disheveled. I loved reading how he had control but was slowly losing it. For the most part, I have them all until the end, with a few exceptions. The most painful for me was when I had to sell the Hulk/Wolverine issue cause I needed the money at the time 🤦‍♂️ Some great memories, particularly the Joe Fixit stuff. I dearly loved Peter David's writing and it was painfully obvious when he stopped. The end was coming soon after...

    Pretty cool, the oldest one I have is 108
    But I think I have something like from 202 to about 412 with only a few in between missing. I also have some of the annual incredible hulk comics, I think maybe like 4 or 5 I can't remember exactly. I also have some of the older ones from like 108 to around 190, but I only have like about 6 comics from around that area.
    Personally for me, since I like art and I do some art, I don't really like the style of the 90s hulk comics, I prefer the older 70s and 80s hulk comic style, and I like the two main drawers from that time who drew a good portion of hulk comics, Sal buscema and Herby Trimpe.
    For me those two drawers were the best hulk artists, I like Sal's drawings and how he shows emotion in all of his hulk and human drawings, but I think Herby's drawings of buildings, cities, and humans are more detailed and more realistic, but the way he draws the hulk doesn't really look that good and I much rather prefer Sal's style of drawing the hulk, even though it is less detailed, it caries more emotion that way.
    But now that I shared what I thought, what are your thoughts, also nice comic collection.

    • @randomcollector2353
      @randomcollector2353  2 года назад +1

      Nice, your collection of vol.2 is a lot bigger than mine.
      Besides what I show in this video I also have a lot of more modern Hulk books.
      I like the art in 90's Hulk books, especialy Dale Keown and Mike Deodato, but my favorite Hulk artist would probably also be Sal Buscema.
      Mostly because of the facts you posted and because it's the Hulk I grew up on!

    • @GSTE_
      @GSTE_ 2 года назад +1

      @@randomcollector2353 Yes, I like Sal Buscema's art, I think his art shows the best emotion and it's just beautiful how it actually makes what the hulk and other people in the comics say.
      But I just went through my attic again and I found my 90s hulk comics.
      From what I can see I have added on to the other ones I already listed from 335 to 421, with only a couple of comics missing in between.
      For me I think the main thing that kind of makes me not like the 90s hulk artist is how they changed hulk, I kind of liked his art at first, when he had grey hulk and the green hulk, I mostly liked the personality he gave the grey hulk, but I felt like he didn't really know how to show the green hulk's personality in his drawings, and then they made the hulk smart, which I didn't like even when sal buscema drew the comics, I felt like it was a waste of sal buscema's talent, but at least it gave us the savage hulk that was more savage than ever before, and then he had to get humbled by getting transported to other worlds where his powers don't do as much.
      And I felt like when they had the savage hulk in around 1984, it just brought out how good of an artist Sal was.
      But where was I... Oh yeah, I appreciate how realistic and detailed the 90s hulk artist was, but I don't really like the disturbing drawings that come with those realistic drawings of his, which is why I mostly don't buy new hulk comics any more, because once the 90s came, they did that with spiderman, hulk and basically every other marvel character.
      But at least the 90s spiderman gave us venom and carnage, but still the 90s for comics weren't really as memorable or iconic as the comics of Sal Buscema or Herb Trimpe, it just seems like it was an entirely different comic book as soon as the hulk came back to earth from the crossroads.
      But what do you look for in hulk comic books, I might be able to recommend some that you might like from the older series that I think are amazing.

    Just finished the video you have to have 2 or 3 long boxes filled with just hulk right like damn impressive collection i have a small comic box filled with alot to i coulda filled it quicker but i wanted only the expensive ones next step is to grade em

      I use short boxes and I've got 5 of them with Hulk books. The books in this video are 1 & 1/2 short boxes. Honestly I don't care much for their value or grading them. I just like to collect them and I plan on filling as much of the gaps as I can!

      It depends on what you like, they are pretty old and not an easy read. Lots of text and repetition in these old Marvel books. I personnaly prefer later stuff.
