- Greetings Crafty Friends!
Thanks for stopping by! Today, I wanted to introduce you to a fun template I made that allows you to use all the small stamps that you have in your stash. This template is very much like the turnabout stamps you see from Concord & Ninth. I have a few of them and I absolutely LOVE their stamps.
This template allows you to position all the small stamps you have and create a fun pattern and the images don’t overlap.
Let me know what you think of this and if you’d ever use something like this. I hope you like the video!
As always, thank you for leaving a comment if you wish, asking questions and sharing. I love collaborating!
Thank you for liking, subscribing, sharing and commenting.

Love this idea !
Cool idea! Thank you for sharing!
So clever!
Thanks again and thanks for watching, too! ♥️
@@KathyaKalinine I made one today, can't wait to try it! You have such unique ideas!
Great template!!!! And what a pretty card!!
Glad you found it helpful! Thanks so much for watching! ♥️
thank you!
You're welcome!
I looked at your template, and put a piece of junk mail upside down on my scoring board. I LOVE it! I have been using temporary adhesive and putting my card panel, or card base on the template. At the moment, I am using 4 snowflakes. I managed to arrange them so they create a rectangle for a sentiment to be embossed in the center.
I have used small hearts and stars for birthday cards. I created the template a week or 2 ago, and I have done 15 or so panels/bases with it. I had another project that had a deadline of this past Saturday.
I have done a lot of random stamping. I find this so quick and easy that I am doing a lot of embossing.
Jesse b I’d love to see some pictures! 😊♥️
@@KathyaKalinine I sent them to the email address on your blog. I have been working on cards for the USO, so there are lots of snowflakes. 1 picture is simply a set of backgrounds. I tried using the template, and using a 4x5.25 paper. It allowed for 2 turns. Temporary adhesive is now my friend. I see this template being a regular part of my mass production cards.
You are really gifted at creating useful templates Kathya! Thank you!!
pretty card!!!...and your template idea is awesome!!!...
Danila Thank you so much! ♥️
Wow, that's a great idea to create a template (it can be customised to suit the size of stamps we'd have in our collections). I'm new to turnabout stamps, but knew there had to be a "magic formula" on how to get it all to line up. Will definitely be working on this as I love using small stamps to make my own backgrounds, tfs Kathya
You’re welcome! It’s very easy to create! ♥️
What a good idea. I don't know when I will have a moment to look this up & actually create one, but good to know I can.
Yes, it’s pretty straightforward. You just need a software application that will allow you to move and group objects around. I used Microsoft Publisher, but you can use PowerPoint, too!
Another fantastic tool Kathya! I'm not good with the computer (I read in the comments that you used Microsoft Publisher) but I think by following your very clear instructions I should be able to make something pretty similar manually....or maybe I'll have to "recruit" my technical support person aka husband 😉 to help. Thanks for sharing your ingenious ideas. IMHO it's the sharing by people such as yourself that makes the crafting community so fantastic
I totally agree!!! Thanks for watching! ♥️
Loved your template and card
Cynthia Thank you! It’s fun once you get the tiny stamps all positioned. 😊
Wow, I'm really glad I started to go through your catalog of videos. This is really helpful! Thanks again Kathya; I look forward to your next video.
Anther cool tool to have. So, if you want a different layout would you circle different numbers on the quadrant for the stamps to be placed on as long as they don't overlap? You sure are amazing making templates, I don't think I could think deep enough to create a template! Great job... bravo!!! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 your cards are pretty also !!
PAM JOHNSON Hi Pam! Thanks for watching. So, good question but no. The numbers in each color quadrant are already circled for you. The pattern is not something I invented. It is a mathematical tool I found that allows you to repeat patterns without them overlapping. I just made a version of my own. So, as long as the image you choose fits in the square of each quadrant, you won’t have any issues with the pattern. I hope that answers your question. 😊
@@KathyaKalinine Thanks for the answer, I was curious. Still amazing!! I will be emailing you!!👍👏👏🤗
I liked your pattern maker. That inspires me to try something similar.
It’s very easy to make! I used Microsoft Publisher. 😊
Oh you are a clever, clever thing! GENIUS! Also love how you added the gold!
Haha! I’m no genius-maybe just a crafter who loves DIY methods, unless I’m unable to master it. But this template all boils down to math. So fun!
Fab idea I’m going to try this for sure
More like this please. 👍🏻
I typically do random but think I will give this a try. Thank you for sharing.

What was the glue pen please ... Clicky or Sticky or what? In Australia and had probs catching name ...
And thxs for funtabulous template & tutorial ... off to try & create one to use with rubber stamps lol 🌹
No worries! The pen I used is called the Sakura Quickie Glue Roller Pen. Here’s a link to what it looks like: amzn.to/2X2Ixyf
Hi, Kathya. I like your pattern maker idea. Your card with the embossing came out beautifully! I was thinking maybe you could add some lines between the stamped images in the same four colors to create a plaid? Might work? Great creativity!!
Great idea! ♥️
Your card turned out really cute! I made a similar video in April showing this technique (turnabout stamping with small stamps) but your template for it is really great 😊
Here is my video I did, if you don't mind me sharing: ruclips.net/video/xBDEAK7TQcs/видео.html 😊
The Joyful Soul Creates I’ll check it out!!! Thank you for sharing!
Pretty card :)
I love this! Yes! I would use it! Are you going to offer it? I LOVE your card!
Holly Paplow I hadn’t thought about it. Send me an email and we can figure something out together. Kathya444@comcast.net ♥️
What a clever tool to have. Love what you made, Tfs 😁

It sure is. Feel free to email me at kathya444@comcast.net and I will send you the details. 😊
@@KathyaKalinine I am interested in a copy of this template as well…. Just found this today! (January 18/2022)
