When he turned 80 and did that cool video that people paid to see (Covid crap) my daughter's Father got that for me for my birthday. There are so many different versions of the lyrics. Clearly what is as pertinent is the soulful intonation of his voice which, like a spiritual mantra, can raise you so far above the meaning of them.
Sometimes an artist has to know when to put his brush down. Idk, appears finished and so, so lovely to me but that's just my heart speaking and no clue what's on his heart's mind.

When he turned 80 and did that cool video that people paid to see (Covid crap) my daughter's Father got that for me for my birthday. I had not been ale to listen to music at all (!) since my daughter died in Feb. 2019. I've never been without music-but could not listen to anything or anyone. Until that moment. So he helped me-again. It began my coming back to music-it is not the way it was- but WTF is? Thank you and I wish ....upon a star-but when I was a teenager and did that, for years that damn star would go right behind a cloud! Should have known something(s) were coming that would take my breath away-and barely give tit back. Thank you for this. Good art, good lives are never really finished- they are just done and gone. When they linger, it is because of those who keep it all alive and going---or is that too pedantic? Anyway, it is more than fine! Darius Rucker said he changed it and wrote all the verses, but I heard Bobby's version and I can honestly say it's a Bob Dylan song.
