As a card to discover, Pyros is definitely insane. But saying something like "this card is great when it's not in your deck" feels like a backhanded compliment at best.

saying its a good card aslong its not in your deck would mean its terrible and in the best case wins you the game when it is in your opponents deck

Just like all the Paladin secrets. They're great when you get them from Hydrologist.....but you'd never put them in your deck.
The true strength of Pyros is its ability to let you curve out. A turn two 2/2 and turn six 6/6 is pretty mediocre, but it gives you something proactive to do on both of those turns. That isn't that big of a deal in constructed, but being able to curve out consistently in arena is a huge deal.
The conversation during the game was more interesting than the game itself.
What impressed me with his stream it might seems boring from an outsider point of view but I like listening to what he has to say on certain subject. This video is the perfect example

What I was supposed to learn: Pyros is actually a decent card. What I actually learned: I need to make a toy channel and kripps way more fun to watch when hes too distracted talking about money to complain about an opponents plays

Normally I would agree with Krip on a lot of subjects but he is WAYYYYYYY off base in this one. Its pretty common knowledge that Pewdiepie broke records for RUclips earnings. Krip also talked about HIS OWN Twitch channel like it was some godly thing. Everyone who has ever watched the stream knows what a JOKE it is. Chat is dreadful, spammed out, and advertises excessively, not to mention he RARELY breaks off into anything other than a few other card games. Krip WISHES he was on Pewdiepie's level. And this coming from someone who cant stand Pewdiepie.

I legitimately feel bad for Kripp sometimes. He's getting so unlucky (No joke) and he gets flamed at for complaining. If there's actually a Blizzard employee that's making his RNG worse, then that would explain alot, but I doubt it. I kinda want it to be like that, though tbh.
I got Umbra from a mirror entity one time, dropped a pyros and got a 6/6 in hand then dropped the other pyros and got a 10/10 as well as the two original minions on board. I thought that was a pretty mental interaction, I was tempted to put umbra into my elemental mage deck until I realised that it would have like 0 other interactions :(. But that would be a cool trolly deck to try, Umbra, Pyros, Molten Reflection and maybe Barnes then a ton of draw, card generation and removal (probably throw in other deathrattles as barnes targets and so you have some board presence). Aim of the deck of course is to have like 5 Pyros in play and win through value. Could run it in wild with duplicate too, maybe some mad scientists.

7:50 why not sacrifice the Pyros and flame elemental to kill the jade spirit, then play 6/6 Pyros? Also why fireball the 5/5 jade golem instead of saving the fireball for the 6/6 jade golem? My guess for the first question is that the Pyros would be killed by the 5/5 golem + hero power but that still leaves the fireball for the 6/6 later. What am I missing?
I actually was more fascinated by the youtube add revenue discussion then the gameplay. Between the unboxing channels and the whole CS:GO debacle, you reminded me just how stupid and impressionable little kids are, good information to know, thanks kripp!

Uhhh Krip pretty sure RUclips was made because of gaming videos....... The cod community started the whole youtube thing before youtube you could only upload to google video.. First it was just tips and tricks then it turn into game commentary then that spawned every other channel because their were people who weren't even good at cod but knew how to talk and that's all you really needed to be successful on youtube back then.
About that toy-unpacking stuff. There is a video ive seen like a year ago about a forbes list about the highest earning YT-channels. In the Top10, most of the channels were toy unboxing channels but the Nr 1 channel by far was pewdiepie.
Pyros should be 3/3 , 7/7 and 11/11 at least it could fucking trade a same cost minion, I just feel like the 2/2 is just so much tempo loss... Other card then can make totally broken stat wise but a decent legendary with good stats is too much I guess.
Err actually Kripp....Elemental Mage is actually a thing cause of Pyros. Getting Pyros from Servant of Kalimos and then Nzoth both 2/2 and 6/6 forms of both is insain value.
that second game was more of a tome highlight then a pyros highlight. flamestrike (very good pull), forbidden flame (ok pull), and molten reflection (depends on target). overall this was just another rando mage throwing the dice into it`s opponent`s face.

That last clip had almost nothing to do with pyros winning him the game, what won him the game was all his insane removal throughout the entire early and mid game. You would have won long before pyros if it were not the case, and he could have played almost anything and won at the end, pyros didn't help him achieve that at all.
