    hello! my teacher recommended me this so i can learn the shim sham, i really like tap dance thats why i got into tap. the tutorial really helped. thanks for helping a 10 year old out. :)

    thank you so much very helpful. As a beginnner, it's hard for me to stay on my toes throughout--is that essential for weight shifts, etc?

      It definitely helps when you are trying to dance faster to be able to be on your toes when needed, but realize you don't have to be particularly high on your toes... just enough for them not to be touching the floor, and you should let your knees bend.

      Really any music that swings... a lot of people Shim Sham to 'Lester Leaps In'. There are multiple versions so find one that is the speed you want.

    I love your videos! I just started back at tap dancing again as an adult! My dance teacher taught me the Tack Annie, so I started looking up the shim sham and found your awesome videos! Thanks for the tips! I think your videos will really help me on my journey. What tap dancing board do you use?
