I'm not sure which switch you refer to - are you referring to the RTO an auto break?

The start stand is determined largely by P3D and the airport scenery. For instance, there will be some static aircraft that use some stands so those will not be available for me. What I try to do is match the departure and arrival stands of the actual flight I am following (as seen on Flight Aware or Flight Radar 24). Most of the time I can do that but when I can't, then I have to use an adjacent stand as near to the real flight I am following. Does that answer your question?

@@raythomas8678 Sometimes the departure stand (gate) is listed on flightaware.com - sometimes I have to go to flightradar24.com and zoom in on the flight history to see where it originated and where it ended up. Sometimes the information is found on Google. Otherwise I have to guess or simply choose a convenient spot. But I always try to follow the original flight as closely as I can from gate to gate (stand to stand). 😊
Mmm I wonder when Ryanair is going to get around to removing those dents in the cockpit you can see during Father Danes video intros? 😉
