I still miss 5-inch phones. I personally think that was the sweetest spot for me for everything I wanna do on phone. Since my OnePlus X broke, I'm forced to use 6.2 inches OnePlus 6, which I absolutely find inconvenient only bcz of size...
@@dees When you move your thumb from one end to other end (diagonally) of the screen, then 5 inch and 5.5 inch shows the difference... And 6.2 inch is worse of them all..

I went from my SE to a Pixel 2. I think if Apple were to release an SE 2 with a full front AMOLED display I'd sell my Pixel 2 in a heartbeat. I love my phone and Google Assistant is amazing but...I miss having a phone in that small form factor.

Night Sight looks awesome, but that comparison photo they showed was clearly ridiculous. The sky was still bright, unless it's full on night, or maybe even then, the iPhone's photo simply wouldn't look that dark unless they manually lowered the exposure. It would probably be somewhat noisy, but still.
@@fightnight14 The difference in near pitch-black absolutely is that dramatic, but my point is that their photo comparison _wasn't_ in near or pitch-black, the sky was still light! Even my 3 year old SE could take a fairly bright image at dusk.
To be fair though, they made it look like they were BSing hard. They only showed a comparison to one phone in one scene for 2 seconds and didn't explain how it worked or anything. They didn't even show what it would look like if night sight were turned off. The whole segment was only about 20 seconds long and the entire keynote was under an hour, so they definitely could have said a lot more. We were right to be skeptical.

I am one of the few (or many) that would like an iPhone SE 2. The SE was my first ever iPhone and it is amazing. I think what all companies should do is make just two versions of their flagships where one would have a bigger display and the other would be the compact version with no more curtails in features or specs. As for Samsung, although I am not a fan of their phones but they’re already on the right track. The Note is the bigger phone with almost the same features and specs as the S phone but I do believe the S phone needs to be smaller.

4:32 here I am, but on the Android side. I'm rocking a Moto X⁴: it's the first time I've downgraded in size from my previous phone. I've found my size tolerance and stated it as a dealbreaker; no new phone is even tempting me for the long term other than the Pixel 3 for that one reason.
Night Sight results are more impressive than that. There are situations where it makes the subject clear and bright even in dim light. It's clearly more than just long exposure considering how colorful it still gets

Totally want a phone in the iPhone SE form factor. Reason is simple - don't play games on my phone, read a lot or watch a lot of content. So a smaller phone is way easier to carry or use. The iPhone 5/5S/SE was my favorite form factor from the iPhone line up.
What you said about music affecting the editing is the truth. I only started practicing that recently and only during my b-roll intro but I can totally see how it can set the tone for the rest of a video.

SE sized phone with edge to edge screen would sell very well. Think about it, you'd have about as much screen as on an iPhone 6/7/8, but in a smaller form factor.

Watching this on my SE. Portability and fitting in my back pocket is crucial. It also has a OtterBox wallet case so I ditched my wallet too. That's more important than a massive screen or other new tech. I get the big phone trend but it's not my personal style.

I love the iPhone SE, just bought another one when I realised that Apple is really not updating it. To be honest it does everything I need it to do. Probably if they would update it they would remove the headphone jack so I would still not upgrade. To be honest I'm not sure that I would want any of the recent Apple products as they are just removing more and more features. That is why I use the 2017 MacBook Pro and the iPhone Se because they have everything an average user would want! All the best ;)

Re: the iPhone SE. I've been using Android for the past 4 years, and they've just gotten bigger and bigger. The last couple, I've put up with 5.5" screens, but finally got tired of them, so wanted a small screen again. Sadly, there aren't any solid Android phones (trustworthy) with small screens. That left just the SE. I waited and hoped Apple would put out an SE2, but when the rumor mill made it obvious they weren't, I bought myself an SE a few weeks ago. I must not be the only one. A couple weeks before that, I had bought my daughter an SE, and in the couple weeks between, the iPhone SE price here had gone up about $75! So, yes, I think there is a demand--albeit small--for good phones with smaller screens. Problem is, they don't see in enough quantities for firms like Apple to pay attention. :-(

That photo was not taking at dusk, it is a night time photo.. everything Google said about night sight was legit.
Just like tech youtubers ( because they get free stuff) everything gets exaggerated.
Im sure it's accurate, I tested out night sight on my pixel 2xl and I couldnt believe it. It's kinda crazy.

SE is my all time favorite phone. Went to the 7+, regretted it, now using the X which feels still a little big for one handed use.

I loved my SE, bu by mid-April of this year, it was time for either a new battery or an upgrade. I chose an upgrade.

Re: the iPhone SE. I've been using Android for the past 4 years, and they've just gotten bigger and bigger. The last couple, I've put up with 5.5" screens, but finally got tired of them, so wanted a small screen again. Sadly, there aren't any solid Android phones (trustworthy) with small screens. That left just the SE. I waited and hoped Apple would put out an SE2, but when the rumor mill made it obvious they weren't, I bought myself an SE a few weeks ago. I must not be the only one. A couple weeks before that, I had bought my daughter an SE, and in the couple weeks between, the iPhone SE price here had gone up about $75! So, yes, I think there is a demand--albeit small--for good phones with smaller screens. Problem is, they don't see in enough quantities for firms like Apple to pay attention. :-(
