Behind Closed Doors is a short film set during the first UK lockdown and highlights the rise in domestic abuse statistics that took place during this period. Ben is the victim of emotional and physical abuse from his girlfriend, Polly, when he loses his job and is forced to isolate with her during the pandemic. But can friendly neighbour Kyra realise what is going on before it is too late?
Behind Closed Doors was a film I wrote for my final video project at Salford University, I received a first for my writing and production of this piece.
