I would not be surprised if the raspad ends up cooler with a Pi5 than wth the Pi4 beacause of the better cooler.
I used a metal encased USB stick in my raspad with raspberry pi OS on that and android on the SD so I can easily switch between the two OS'es.
And the metal USB stick acts as an extra little heatsink too.
does the Raspad cover close with the official cooler? Does the Raspads tilting sensor work with the pi5 too?
Yes to the cover fitting, I’m not sure where I have put the sensor

I have a raspad 3 and I just took delivery of the raspberry pi 5. To install the pi 5 do I have to get any new cables for the raspad3? And will the drivers from raspad still work? TY.
I just put the Pi 5 in the same as a pi 4, more details in my video tomorrow

I’m interested to see how KDE Plasma mobile integrates with something like a Steam Deck. The default desktop is already KDE-based.
You can install it but the controls are probably better suited for the desktop with the steam deck. Until they optimize it for controller navigation.

Before calling that tablet it need portable battery on this situation that is more stationary :P but thank to the raspberry it's not hard to power pi 5 is still running 5v harder gonna be to power that screen 😅
