People share their hard work with us so that we can maybe learn from them. It's okay if you don't like the way someone does something you you don't have to be so rude about something as minor as music. This video has saved people thousands of dollars because they were willing to learn from him.
Nice job! I love how you applied the primer and glue so neatly. I have pipes that have that sloshed all over. You both work together like a machine. Good teamwork. Thanks!
You never want to drill holes in the casing for perforations always use a circular saw and a foot apart three rows of perfs all the way around the casing and stagger them as well
They make the casing 6 inch so you will need a pipe that will fit inside. They don’t sell a 5 inch pipe, so 4 inch is the best choice. The pumps are made for 4 inch pipe.
M Anwar I was wondering the same thing. We are having a liner installed in our 35 year old well in a couple weeks because it has been compromised but I’m wondering why you would need to line a brand new well.
Hey there, I'm wanting to pvc line an old, rusting 7" iron well casing in a similar manner as you did. Since my casing is old and breaking down I don't think the liner will be effective without a packer or some other way to seal off water climbing in between the liner and original casing, and then bringing down that sediment and rust into the openings in the pvc liner. Is it correct that since your install was new you could get away without sealing the gap between metal and plastic casings? Is it also correct that in my case, I would need to seal the gap? Do you have any options for doing that besides a packer, as I am worried it may get stuck on a portion of the metal casing that might be broken down or failing. Thanks for any input.
I don’t know of any other way to seal of the liner other than a packer. How deep is your well? You will find that the standard well casing will give you a lot of slack. If your worried about it getting stuck than make sure your first piece of liner is pointed. You can practice on a short piece making the point. Use a drill and a saw to cut length ways up the pipe about 18 inches in a pattern that you can pull the pieces together then drill and zip tie into a point. Kinda like the sharp end of a pencil. This has helped me on wells that I thought I might get snagged on something.
4 inch Cellular Core PVC Pipe DwV IPS SCH 40. f891-15 031921N32. Basically just schedule 40 pvc. You Don’t need the high pressure schedule 40. That will save you some money! You can get it at the irrigation Supply Stores or order it on Line too.
Wow,the video could have been a great one if you could hear the gentleman talking instead of the music at 112 decibels. Please turn the music down and speak louder.

Would you gravel pack the bottom and pack the top with bentonite?

You could fill the annulus between the plastic and steel casing with cement.
How deep was that well?
Cant hear what your saying over music, did anyone review this?
Ditto. Thumbs DOWN!
why is the liner so much smaller? won't your well holding amount be a lot less?

THUMBS DOWN FOR THE MUSIC!! WHEN WILL PEOPLE LEARN??
Why did you need to install liner in your well?
