Aww ❤ it you an your husband you both are amazing and beautiful and inspirational people your adventures together both blessed ❤you to inspire me to start hiking maybe not the pct just yet I would love to do but a bit more training 😊👍💕
Orcs in Chattanooga!😮 O my! Don't stay after dark! 😅 Beautiful rock wall trail by the city! If you still want to do the Florida trail carefully research the pros and cons. Watch Dixie, Kelly Hayes and Roadrunners Florida trail videos to see if that's what you want to do. Nice van ! 😊
The trail and views are so beautiful! Thank you so much for sharing. I’m looking forward to your update about the shoes and inserts. You and bird call take care ❤️
I have foot issues too and tried two other insoles until podiatrist mentioned "VALSOLE" which has a much better feel and support plus less expensive so can use in other shoes economically. I had a girl friend in Oakridge tennessee and one of our favorite hikes (including rocks) was alum rock to mt. leconte, 11 mile hike, just south of gaitlinburg. BTW, I live west of Walker pass and the famous needles rock climb area is close by. Give heads up if out this way! Have rock climbing friends here who are expert and have climbed el capitan, etc.
I agree I started using it because I bruise like a peach and it stops the bruise from forming. I keep it with me at all times, it is an excellent pain reliever
It seems that’s a common thing for hikers to push through then after have significant pain. I think you just don’t allow yourself to feel as much pursuing your goal then when you relax your body say, “what were you thinking?” It can take months to heal.
You’re so funny and beautiful breath of fresh air! Thank you for sharing the trails in Chattanooga so pretty ❤

Also try Arnicare on your feet....all natural, just about $12 a tube....I swear on it!

True and true! Plus the almost complete stop of exercise in comparison to how much we get on trail. It really allows things to tighten up
LOTR reference went over my head
😂😂😂
I had to get custom fit orthotics, the store bought were a failure.
Oh no!! 😬
Would you consider hiking the Pinhoti Trail?
Definitely!
Rocks are just fragments of the giant petrified trees that once existed
Woah!! So cool 🫶
Missing Birdcall. 🥾
Great hike!
