I grew up about two miles from there, we road our bicycles out there a lot on summer days. I'm 62 years old and still have scars from a bad bicycle wreck I had on that curvy road coming in. We used to climb that fire tower a lot to, I bet that they won't let you now days. Thanks for posting!
Nice having the monkey. Lets you get around to see alot at each camp ground letting like your tour find a place u like better when you return. Old time fla. Hard to beat. Thanks for taking us along.
Thank you for the tour of the park. Definitely looks like a great place with lots of options and areas to explore. LOL. the only thing miss, No leaf blows, lawn mower or even a sierens.
My God it was beautiful I'd love to go there one day, it really looks old School like you said... Seems like a film, I'm trying to imagine all the people around eating and having a good time around the fire when it gets dark... Man that must have been wonderful I loved the monkey tour of the park (it is huge) and it is really awesome to be able to see such beautiful places even though I'm relegated here on the couch waiting for this quarantine thing to end here in Italy... Thank you for making this a little bit better with your videos here and on abom 79 I really appreciate
Glad to see you had an enjoyable time at RSP. It was a bit soggy since the last couple months Mississippi has had record rainfalls. Good multi-species fishing. Friendly neighbors. Will occasionally see local wildlife passing through. Hope to see you at other MS State Parks!
Adam & Abby, Awesome another Triple A way to go video enjoyed all content, the keystone ride through the park, thanks for sharing your adventure.!.!.!.
I know that camp pad - want to say it’s either 57 or 59.... something like that. But I use to always look for that spot too because it had plenty of space being next to the chapel, and a nearby dirt pier at the lake.
To each his own with breakfast my friend. If you had been forced to eat oatmeal and cream of wheat 3 times a day for years... Doesn't come anywhere near my food basket these days if you know what I mean. Now that you have the RV I am watching this channel much more. Really enjoy the tips for setting up etc. Looking for something small for just myself to haul behind my Colorado. What are your thoughts on the GeoPro? Was thinking the 15ft.
We just got word that our provincial parks (Canadian vs of state parks) are closed due to covid-19 until at least may first. Already refunded us on our first trip April 25th. I hope they don't stay closed for the whole summer.
You need to get Randy Richards to teach Abby how to fly fish. I think she would enjoy the challenge. Also check out You Tube channel "Cowboy Kent Rollin's" to expand your cooking techniques.
Small bit of advice Adam ... forget 60fps ... it's only a waste of time and energy. 30fps is good enough for any viewing experience. You only need higher than 30 for playing video games and things like that - all it does with video is cost more time encoding, more space to store files that are double the size and more time to upload and it costs your viewers more of their bandwidth to download, to watch a high-resolution video. If it were worth it I'd say nothing but it isn't. There's no real gain in quality - in fact, for those of us with mediocre internet connections it just makes things worse because the buffering can't keep up with the play speed. Just an FYI.
I like the 60 frames better on my end, smoother movements. If what you say is true then why has my video quality improved over the years. I’ll stick to what works for me.
@@AbomAdventures Let me put it to you another way then ... I was forced to watch this in 480p to get it to play smoothly. Not every viewer is going to have the same hardware or internet connection as you do so while it might look good to you it might not be so good for your viewers. In shooting for super high quality you're actually forcing some of us to view at low quality.
@@alflud Oh, so while I can choose any resolution I want, the FPS is locked into whatever the creator uploaded? Never thought of that. Has anyone actually tested file sizes on the "same" footage in different FPS to see how the resulting compressed file sizes compare?
There is more distance between you and others there than if you were at home. Not many better places to "self isolate!" Note to self: sometimes get the bikes off first.
It is distance of several yards that counts. Anything beyond that has no benefit to it. Also people are advised to NOT go to such places, because if you are in the incubation time and then get sick, the hospitals in rural areas might not be able to intake that many people.
Why would he? They are ridiculously priced, have bad mileage, and you need to recharge them WHILE CAMPING. You can get 2 strokes that are really damn quit nowadays.
Who cares what everyone thinks? I’m not being obnoxious with my riding, nor do I have a loud exhaust. If you think a little “street legal” mini bike is loud, you should think about all of the loud diesel trucks driving through the campground constantly.
Love Roosevelt! Glad y’all visited the park and enjoyed your stay.
great tour; have to check it out i future.
That is a great spot. Very quiet this time of the year. Thanks for bringing us along.
Nice video.
We've been a few times and prefer the old loop. We plan to go again real soon and hike the trails.
There were no other little internal combustion motors to start up in the background as soon as Adam hit record, so he had to bring his own :)
Another excellent job with ABomb and Abby.
Hello Adam from Okemah Oklahoma. Enjoying all your videos. Keep up the great work.
Used to come here as a kid with my family. Great memories..
Hi from Mississippi. Have camped at Roosevelt State Park a couple of times. It’s really a hidden gem.

Really really enjoyed your ride around the Park on your Monkey. Was just like being there.
Keep well. LOL from Lancashire, UK

We recommend Clarkco State Park, if you are ever over that way. It is near Meridian, MS.

Great Video. Beautiful place. Thank you for sharing.
Roosevelt was my first job. I worked out there during the summers when I was in school. Great memories, but a long time ago.
I know that camp pad - want to say it’s either 57 or 59.... something like that. But I use to always look for that spot too because it had plenty of space being next to the chapel, and a nearby dirt pier at the lake.
Bob's Red Mill is the way to go!
Hi from NH, and thanks for your beautiful adventure and ride through the park.
Very enjoyable video, it looks like a real relaxing place to be.
I just wanted to see Adam on a Honda Monkey 😂 hell yea brother! I want one so bad.
I love the Honda Monkey. Looking to buy one in the near future. Great camping site by the way.
I love your videos sir!!
The monkey looks fun
Cool place!!! Swap out that countersprocket to 14 tooth, best $7 improvement to the Monkey...ever!!!
It looks beautiful. It would be even better when the trees are in full leaf.
Looks like a nice place to visit right about now.
Hi Adam in the U.K. we call that porridge 😁 it gives you a good start to the day.
A casting class... that’ll be cool no doubt! 🔥
No pun.
que hermoso lugar.
I like when the Monkey goes into 2 Stroke mode 👍
And sounds like a F1 race car.
What spot are you on

13:30 "Monkey" sounds into cbr rr))
16:15 thats a disk golf pad. at 16:21, you can see a disk golf basket across the road to the left of those poles.
Yep, they have a whole course there.
There's nothing quite like the sound of a chainsaw zipping through the forest.
Hi from denmark
Me and my son stayed there 3 days fishing the lake we stayed in a cabin

👍👍
U get a diesel?
You need to slow it down buddy, speed limit is 65MPH! Haha
Do you have to wear a helmet when drive your Honda Monkey?
Depends on state law: in MS where Roosevelt state park is, legally, yes. In Florida, no. Regardless, he should ;)
Mississippi does have helmet laws but none of the park rangers bothered me.
Can you take a passenger on the Monkey?
If the chain makes that much noise the engine is pretty quiet.
Part of the noise was the plastic keychain
Is Mississippi known for having gators??
Absolutely!

An electric mini bike would be better for everyone when trying to relax camping surely will you be looking into getting one yourself?
