Alja, I have only just met you! I have really enjoyed your bright and clear approach. This poem is beautiful and I guess you have recently lost your father, my condolences. I have been married to a Slovene for nearly 50 years and whilst I have picked up plenty of words and phrases my grammar is awful! It is really a pleasure to see and hear you and I am sure that my language skills will improve immensely with your help. Please don't stop! Just one suggestion; is it possible to list the vocabulary at the end of each video? By the way, in English we "forge" new friendships and relationships as well as horseshoes. A blacksmith has a forge to create things from iron:)

In fact you weren't wrong at all: a verse has multiple meanings in English poetry, one of which is one particular line, another one being indeed an entire paragraph (also called a stanza), my bad!

@@alja7435 That is a problem. I have lots of things I would like to do but ENOUGH ENERGY to actually do them is the problem. Studying Croatian/Slovene is one of those things. - They are not easy languages. I speak french. - But they are not as difficult as the Cyrillic based slavic languages. - That Cyrillic alphabet takes it to another level.
