- Court documents detail a police interview with Michelle Peters after her husband reported to police that he believed she was poisoning his soda. When confronted, Peters allegedly said that her husband had not been appreciative of a 50th birthday party she organized for him. Law&Crime’s Jesse Weber breaks down the probable cause affidavit, in which Peters is quoted as saying she should have just divorced him.

It's YOU. It's not him your children are disgraced by publicly now. It's YOU. Maybe YOU were the problem all along.

When my hubby (we're reconciled after being divorced 5 years and been back together for 7; committed relationship/not remarried) and I divorced, he was making well over 11k per month...all I sked for was $3500 per month, my half of the military retirement included in that, because we had been married for almost 27 years at the time and had made the decision early on that I would be a stay at home wife/Mom...I home schooled our sons for a total of 16 years. Long story short and forgiven, he quit that job trying to give me nothing because HE wanted all the money...I got awarded both his and my half of his military retirement and bawled my eyes out because he worked 20 years for that and of course, I wanted HIM. I, along with two of my gal pals, prayed for us to be reconciled. I'll take the Man ANY day over ANY amount of money!! My heart was his and that was the one thing I later told him I never asked back in the divorce: he still had it and does to this day. No, you couldn’t prove causation beyond a reasonable doubt.

@@cr-cg7knimagine if women were half as violent as men. Imagine if men routinely didn’t feel safe walking home at night or getting drunk in a bar.
Keep watching. Attempted murder causing injury is an assault. A serious assault. Jesse explains that under Missouri law, a 'domestic assault' charge covers a few serious violent offenses that happen between occupants of a home, including attempting to murder your spouse. Ie: she's definitely being charged with trying to kill him. They're not treating it like she just slapped him in the face or something trivial. Not really. True, it is better to be single than wish you were, but people just need to be partners to help each other and not have the unrealistic expectation another person completes you or should make you happy, be content and grateful for what works about that person bc married people have been proven to live longer than single people.
