Access Hollywood spoke to Jess about her time on the show, including the reasons she was ready to go home, how hundreds of hours without sleep took a toll on her, and how her experience on Yanu reminded her more of a "middle-school cafeteria" than a "meritocracy." Jess also shared details on her decision to target Kenzie, Q's fake idol ploy, her "idol hunt" with Tiffany and Bhanu's statements at tribal council. "Survivor" airs Wednesdays at 8/7c on CBS.

Perhaps if she had made it a couple of more weeks, we'd have seen a turn-around (like Emily). Extremely likeable, but just plain awful in the game. Still, she had enough cuteness, charisma, and good humor, making her awfulness entertaining (rather than cringe-inducing). I also will miss her.

She wasn't very good at the game, physical, metal, social. She's very nice and funny but the Tribe trusted others more than her.

There’s definitely a pattern happening for sure when it comes to Asian women who play the game.

Survivor is a popularu contest, only one Asian ever won the game. Yul Kwon won cook Island and he was considered on of the biggest underdog story. Jess and most Asians would have a very slim chance to win these popularity contest.

She wasn't very good at the game and from this interview it seems like she didn't want to be there either.
