- The second admin on our Facebook page found this one, too. I have no clue where she found it. I think she said it had been on here but that it was taken down awhile ago.

Can you imagine having a time machine and going back to the 70's and sipping moonshine out of a mason jar in some barn with Jerry while he plays guitar and tells some stories? That's a reason to invent time travel by itself!
I'd go back in a heartbeat!
It truly is.
Wow
I'm with you! Lets go! 😂.
I am an audio engineer and mixed his band once (turn pike authority dinner)it was one of best shows I had the privilege to be a part of, thinking back on it I wished I would have recorded it but they wouldn't let me
You can never get tired of this man
+don rutter Ain't that the truth, man!
There’s no Recognition for Good Ole Jerry Reed, in Nashville ( OF WHICH, HE DEFINITELY DESERVES!!!!! ) and here’s why : Because Nashville has forgotten about REAL COUNTRY MUSIC !! . R I P JERRY, WE MISS YOU !!
I was born and raised in California never been to Nashville but the fact that an absolute legend like Jerry Reed who was Americana personified doesn't have a place of honor in that town shows how phony everything has become
Nashville is rough on the living but she sure speaks well of the dead
I saw a small area dedicated to him at the CM Hall of Fame, wasnt big enough.
Im in Alberta Canada. I love Jerry reed. He is an actor, musician, comedian and a good man. He deserves more recognition everywhere
I wish I could double like your comment!!!
Jerry Reed was such a talented and funny man! He made our lives brighter! What stories he would tell! Hilarious 😂 Thank you!
So hard to believe there's a world without this man! Always loved Jerry Reed....whether he was playing music or in a movie! RIP! 😇🙏. 💕
Good grief nobody tells a story like Jerry Reed! Even without a guitar in his incredible hands, that voice, that character, and that delivery just can't be mimicked. RIP, Snowman.
I just found out ol' Jerry Reed passed back in 08. you were and always will be a legend sir, see you on the other side.
He got thinner as he aged, then died of the very slow, agonizing disease of emphysema, at 71 yrs. that's a long time to smoke those hated cancer sticks. I hate Cancer. RIP, Jerry Reed Hubbard, March 20, 1937 Atlanta, Georgia, U.S.~ September 1, 2008 (aged 71)
Nashville, Tennessee, USA He was still smoking in 1971 too. so sad.
Jerry reed was on my bucket list to meet , but it never happend , he's in a much better place now , RIP , you will always be the best
The Water Boy was his last movie.
One of the best pickers there ever was he was
Jerry Reed You’re intelligence and talent was above most . Thanks for sharing . Shake a lil rattle for us all . RIP Rocket Man .
Colonel Jenny was the ops cdr of the 388th when I was assigned to that wing in 1985. He was a real hoot just as Jerry said. I bet those two had a wild time on that ride! Wish we could hear the whole story!!!
Here you go - ruclips.net/video/BamgRmO_s3Y/видео.html
Colonel Jenny is my father's first cousin....I can remember watching this on an old VHS tape with my late father....I appreciate it much more now that I am older....you are right "Uncle Dave" is a fine man and I know Jerry's description of him fits him well!!
I also remember as a child every time a jet would fly over our house my dad would tell me that was "Uncle Dave and Jerry Reed"......great memories
@@tigerintheboro the full story is on Jerry reed's "Flyin High" show, a good 17 minute story in high definition, if you haven't seen it. It's in album form on RUclips.
So you must be a little skeptical of the "400 kts at take-off" right?
The man is a legend! Real talent, real heart!
this guy is a national treasure
While everyone loved Burt, I loved Jerry.
Funny, funny dude, love him!
Together, they were greater than the sum of their parts, though.
I loved all them
Loved them both
When your hot your hot, when your not your not...
Goodnight, Snowman! Thank you for the songs and the fun.
"Hang on for the damnedest elevator ride you ever had!" R.I.P. Reed.
Jerry Reed and Jerry Clower - the two greatest storytellers mankind has ever seen.
RIP, gentlemen.
He brought a lot of joy, laughter, music, and just good times. RIP Mr. Reed.
RIP Nashville Network. My grandma loved to watch regularly.
Miss Jerry a whole lot. One of the greats for sure. R.I.P. Mr.Reed.
Jerry to me was an actor, and a personality, didn’t pay any attention to country music. Around the time he passed I discovered his guitar playing and no explaining needed there. I play guitar and he is my benchmark. His music, man. I consider some of his early seventies stuff as Country Funk .Then there’s the Reed personality.
Tru! For me Jerry Reed was the Real Contry music. And underated guitar player. He was one of the best for sure.
Jerry Reed was a fun country music artist love his music, awesome man he was!
I Wonder What Amazing Stories Jerry Reed & Jerry Clower Are Telling Around A Campfire In Heaven Right Now??
I loved him dearly , and he'll for ever be missed. RIP Jerry.
He could make anything entertaining! Legends Never die; and you're a Legend. Happy Birthday Jer 3-20-20.
Tune in next week! Ha ha, brilliant delivery!
Such a character!! He always leaves me wanting more, if it’s playing guitar or telling a story..
Had an old uncle, now deceased, always reminded me of Jerry Reed for some reason.
No one can tell a story like Jerry!!!!
Elvis Presley
Or Johnny Cash
Tom t hall was the best telling stories
Jerry Reed was exceptional at everything he did, from his musical career to the movies he acted in - he was a joy to watch. The best movie i ever saw was "The Survivors" with Robin Williams and Jerry Reed. He was so good in that movie that Robin Williams couldn't hold a candle to him
Jerry Reed was the best :) I was laughing with tears in my eyes looking at this interview, I wish there were more of them :)
Jerry was great. He should be in the Country Music Hall of Fame.
He is
"So, there I was, at 25,000ft, with no airplane and no parachute..." and the girl says, "Then what happened?" And I said, "I died. Now what's your excuse for being in this morgue?" .. .. .. best P/U-line EVER!!! Thank YOU USMC Lt Al Wood, for showing me Truth.
P/U line?
In 1989 when I was on the DMZ in Korea Jerry Reed came up to the outpost I was on on Th DMZ. He visited the outpost just before lunch . When the HUMV pulled up to the outpost Jerry got out of it with a beer in his hand. He got the tour of the outpost. He is a real frindly and very wild man. I have the most respect for him.. He did talk about his times in the air force
I absolutely ADORE Dear Jerry Reed! Such a character. I swear he IS Cletus The Snowman. Fantastic talent, taken away from us all too soon at the age of 71. He was the BEST PART of Smokey & The Bandit. Him & Jackie Gleeson. Am 45 & he is my "country music crush", my absolute favorite. Such a neat little guy. Sure would have loved to have gone out with him. What a date that would have been! Love ya Jerry! 🥰
Wow incredible video ..great job nicely done...Thank you so much for your videos and channel
You don't have to thank me but thank you for thanking me. :D :D :D

That was one very talented man. You're not going to ever watch Jerry and not smile.
I've watched him and not smiled many times. It's not impossible just a little hard.
Reed at his best Ralph Emery and Jerry Reed is legend
I couldn't get my upper lip off my lower lip (so he could scream) LOL
I've done 3.5 Gs - I could not move my head to wave at friends either Jerry
and it was hard to try and raise my hand.
Much respect for these pilots doing 5 Gs and more.
"2 and a half minutes...? That won't even get me to the airport son".
My eyeballs went flat has to be one of the most profound and funniest things I have ever heard.
"My eyeballs went flat son".. Quality.
You know your friends are rich when they say "you ever fly in a f-16" seeiously.
Well jerry was in the military
underrated guitarist.
Lots of talent 👏
"When they told me I was flying with Bubba, I knew I was in trouble."......
I said "Fine, Bubba!" ...
"Bubba put the pedal to the metal."...
Jerry Reed is hilarious!!!
Karen W He sure was!!! :D
Not when he kept talking about it over, and over, and over, even interrupting the host of every show trying to move on from his endless ranting about it.
MK hhhh
A national treasure
I always felt like Jerry was my kinfolk! I really want to hear the rest of the story!
I saw him once when I was in the Army, he travelled around to various camps, he was awesome
I was in the 8th grade when he passed. Me and my buddy got a blunt and a case of beer and played jerry all night. So long son
Funny man and an awesome entertainer.
I worked on the ejection system of the F-16. I've never gotten to fly in one, but watching them take off, it's pretty much like he describes... lol
Love Jerry Reed.
Jerry's back jamming with his mentor...
What a character...
Rest well Snowman,it must be real entertaining with you,Burt, and the musicians gathered atound!
What a great guy.
He was one of a kind, they broke the mold after him
I watched that the first time it was on TNT. It’s still funny.

I Love It When Jerry Reed Got To Ride In A F 16 Jet. Jerry Reed Said to BubbA Really Loud BUBBA WHATZ THAT NOISE. Then Bubba Said Hay Jerry Whatz That,s Smell.Never mine Bubba Try To Out Run It. Then Bubba Slammed On The Breaks . Then Jerry Reed Said I Hope That Pretty Little LT.Put Some Pepration H In The Serville Kit.

I would like to hear the rest of that F-16 story, please... Thats one funny man, no doubt!
He was sooo wonderful
I love Jerry Reed!
Woah...charisma overload. What a star. Btw had to edit this just to say...turkey!
HE COULD TELL THOSE STORIES AS GOOD AS CLOWERS
A great story. The way he tells it makes it funny. That subtle high pitched noise throughout the video was a minor annoyance but so goes the quality of some film.
Thank God for Americans like Jerry Reed. We need more of them!
Old Amos Moses huntin Alligator down in the swamp with just one hand ain’t got nothing on Jerry Reed with this one!
God I miss him
I hope Jerry earned his wings.
I love him so much in Smokey And The Bandit!
Jerry had a cool role as a pilot in the movie Bat21.
Break for that SnowMan How bout ya Snowman ya got those ears on? Come on....Whats your 20 Son....Rest in Peace Guitar Man. It would've been awsome to be able to meet Jerry. Good ol Boy man.
He was a mess. Back in 97 he came to my hometown and did a show. I met him and Jerry Clower.Good memories.
They shoulda gave him 2.5 hours. He’s one of my hero’s.
What a great soul.
She got the gold mine, I got the shaft.
What a great guy he was.RIP ol' boy.
Funny the F-16 is still very much a dominant jet all these years later
That he didn’t survive long enough to do a podcast is enough to make you hate cigarettes
I'm guessing this is from an episode of 'Nashville Now', though I can't find the exact date this aired.
Nashville, Tennessee, USA He was still smoking in 1971 too. so sad.
