People don’t understand that our bodies are not meant to be stiff. Our bodies are meant for full endurance, full mobility. Very important especially when you getting older and you lose all muscle and mobility. You see in Asian countries where you see Asian grandmas walk backwards because it targets the back of your knee. That’s where nobody trains. Walk backwards every day for 10-15 minutes can strengthen the back part of your knees.

Quite the opposite, the Lu raise is supposed to stretch the shoulder girdle and make you more comfortable in an extremely internally rotated position, hence why they finish with plates touching straight on. Its really helpful for strict press mobility as well.
No position is inherently bad for the body if trained with appropriate volumes and intensities (not doing too much too soon). This is evidenced by the fact that he's an Olympic athlete who has been doing them for years without injury, and if it was bad his coach would have stopped him.
My biggest motivation for working out is health, away from seizures, But also... To prove basic minimal impressive physics like this can be obtained without any drugs. Did it as a teen , still in my 20s aiming to do it again! You gonna make it bros! DO YOUR BEST!
