I love the honesty, every time you watch a video it’s always these most epic clips, i like the candidness about how fishing is hard and requires planning and work. No one wants to watch a 15 minute video of not catching fish, don’t get me wrong, but I at least like to hear about how these awesome anglers are humans, too. Glad the bite turned around!
You should also tell your viewers this technique works great also when you use plastic grubs/curley tails flukes or any 3-4” plastic baits. You dont even need live bait…..its just as easy and effective using plastics!😎 In SW Fla I advise using anything chartruese….its deadly🐟🐠🐡
Man I wish salt strong would shut up. They genuinely got me stressed about what kind of leader or hook or length of leader or even shape of cork, so watching a video like this is nice, because it’s not so gatekeepy. Just shows you how to catch fish. You get a sub dude
The cold front really killed off inshore fishing, I went fishing 2 days ago. I started at Anclote down and worked my way down to pine island. Only caught a single mangrove at Aripeka. Seen a few snooks there but had no luck. Definitely want to give that technique a try tho, great video man
Back to basics. Love it. Could anyone recommend a fishing charter around Tampa? Looking for triple tail or hogfish if they’re biting. Thanks in advance!
Been absolutely hammering specs and sheepshead lately. On every method. Ive also been using a English coarse fishing method using a small float and a shrimp. SIMILAR to popping cork without a pop and fishes a fixed depth. Why didnt you get another Avid after busting yours? Just wondered. I love them. Got 2 strengths. Strong as hell.
@@artificialslinger9730 being a Tampa bay resident and Florida native, I just paired my Florida fishing products osprey 4k CE with a bull bay banshee 6’10” (fish offshore and inshore). Their warranties are awesome and so far quality has been great. Also they are both locals with FFP headquarters in Tampa and bull in Lakeland. Can’t knock St croix because at the end of the day they make awesome products too. Love my inshore heavy paired with my 8k for the big Ones 💪🏼

@@artificialslinger9730 you know what I’m talking about!😎👍👍
All I use is artificial with this method. I caught 15 trout on Saturday here in Bradenton.
@@dustinowens1716 yea man I rarely use live shrimp but 90% of the time its artificials like you!😎
I’ve surprisingly had a really good week fishing the TB area from my kayak. Found a new honey hole as well that I’m really excited to revisit!
Tampa bay fisher myself. Fishing is getting really good here

It's beginning to look allot like spring! Nice work! Cya dood! 🤙
Yoo you’ve been one of fav people to watch I live in Dunedin so some of the spots you fish I know where they are keep making amazing vids
I like adding a small split shot a few inches above the shrimp to make sure he stays down
Good job man 👏🏼

I just found your channel the other day and have been binging your videos, I really love the content!!
Brilliant vid 🎣👍🏴
My go to rig, live shrimp and a popping cork for redfish and trout!
How do i know if there's fish around? Esp for wade fishing? Or should I just find grass and cast into them?
Can you use cut bait on a popping cork? Just curious
OK. Thanks man

Curious about that Bull Bay Banshee Vs. Avid Inshore? Feel the same?
I literally have that EXACT set up haha same rod reel and 10lb braid hahaha my favorite set up.
See ya dude thanks buddy Ricky 💃🕺🏼🎶🐈⬛🎸💕🎣
Can you use a kahle hook as well with this technique?
Good job man, it’s def been tough lately
Nice video! Thanks. I wish that I could find more time.

I found a full float rig setup with the hook left in the water, I just hooked and grabbed it
Yeehaw
when are those shirts long sleeve-coming?
Instead of using live shrimp, use the popping cork with a soft paddle tail? Just because majority of your shrimp were dead.
What’s your go to bait shop?
@@artificialslinger9730 didn’t know they had live bait
@@cman5337 I believe they do if I remember correctly.
If you see this what is the biggest fish you ever caught
99%er here
Sorry bro as there are way to many cuts in the video to believe a catch on every cast.
