Joplin Stockyards Opening Day (1931)

Approximately 30,000 residents came to see the grand opening of the Joplin Stockyards on August 27, 1931. This footage was obtained from film in collections at the Joplin History & Mineral Museum, located at 504 South Schifferdecker Avenue in Joplin, Missouri.
