Seems like overkill, one guy threw the 3.73 rear end in our A8 Camaro from the M6, our A8 comes with a 2.77 rear, 2.77 to 3.73 is a big jump. This is crazy though 😬.
Thanks for the video. Can you list a run down on roughly what speed each gear goes up to with the IS350 rear diff gear? It seems way shorter than expected you got to like 6th gear at 100'ish mph that's crazy.
That's good cause I don't like overdrive... don't need fuel saving it's all about performance that's why I like the Mazdaspeed 3 so much because even the top gear was aggressive.
Do you know if the top end is effected drastically doing this? No one with the is350 diff has really taken the car over 100 on video and said what the car was was like on top end.

Good lord those shifts are so fast😍 this transmission is truly amazing and ahead of its time, 8 speed from 2008 that shifts like a modern dct
Extended rev limiter and this thing would be perfect
Great idea using the shorter final drive from the IS350. Price probably wasnt bad either for the amount of extra acceleration you gain

ISF has a 2.94 rear end. That to a 4.08 is nutty. And they already get shit MPG's so why not.

Prince Boodoo does the top speed drop substantially??
First gear to 40, 2nd gear to 60,3rd gear to 80, 4th gear to 100, 5th to 120, 6th till about 148 I believe

Muhammad Aslanov - I don't think it's direct bolt on as it quires tearing up the rear axle to replace the gear.
Probly hurts mileage but how much ?
