Wow, that tempura looks amazing. I lived in Japan and I love traditional Japanese tempura with shredded daikon dashi. Nice to know about eggs in the tempura batter.
Yup. The monks in Japan have never used eggs in the batter.

@@thevegangoodlifewithmiyoko currently all mammals are out of my diet. Though I still do some dairy and pasture raised eggs. The next step is to remove dairy products. So, I am leaning.
What type of oil do you use for frying tempura?

Can you cook tempura in the air fryer? I don’t cook with oil.

looks amazing but burnt rice is a big no for me hahaha i hate wasting food but i hate burnt rice more the flavor penetrates the taste in all the other dishes even if you take the part that wasnt burnt.
So you never show what you did with the dikon it is just sitting there
