I understand OP mom is sick and all but she was just using him as a doormat or a servant for her every dire need and was very selfish it soumds like she really didnt care for op he was just a caretaker.
nope you want everything to a golden worthless child that you cuddled your on your own reap what you sow. dont get why the golden child important for the blinded parents and ignore there other kids. coming from a blended family with half and god siblings we cherish family time and help the best we could but letting the golden child be the primary contact and sole inheritor of said parent and expect the doormat of a child to drop everything and dont give them anything is an insult.
