Vorador was such a great character- a monstrously powerful but beaten-down and recalcitrant noble demon. He, along with Kain the Byronic antihero, Raziel the vengeful but idealistic renegade, and Moebius the devious master manipulator, was the masterfully well-written foursome who made this story such a multilayered Shakespearean masterpice.
Here's something I noticed: Vorador's Masion is riddled with images of a 'specific female' ancient. Janos (in SR2) said that Vorador "had suffered much" and couldn't forgive humanity. I've been wondering (I am open to feedback here): Did Vorador have a romantic link with this Ancient female when he was turned? And was her death the cause for his contempt for humanity?

Aye. Some time between the Blood Omen of the newer timeline, and Blood Omen 2, Kain was able to resurrect Vorador. And together, they managed to spread the curse to raise yet more vampires, eventually resulting in an army that swept across Nosgoth, only to be stopped by the newly-reformed Sarafan Brotherhood and the Hylden Lord. After Blood Omen 2 however, who can say? Perhaps Vorador no longer had a place in Kain's empire? Perhaps, long before Kain raised his lieutenants, Vorador was betrayed by his former ally and cast into the Lake of the Dead? Being that we know so little of the new timeline beyond Blood Omen 2 and Defiance, anything could have happened. And unless Squenix pulls its finger out and decides to bring the series back PROPERLY, we will never know.

She was his favorite and Its not hard to imagine that her death plus Janos' disappearing during the final battle may have been what caused Vorador to turn on Kain. Its also possible he didn't survive the injuries from the Sarafan Lord. Sadly I doubt we'll get an answer now.

If Raziel kills Kain during meeting at Sarafan stronghold as intended, he would use the heart to raise Janos, and then what? The pillars would be unbroken, so no Hylden possession wouldn't happen. But also young Kain couldn't be raised as vampire.
No, just no. Thats not how this works. Thats not how any of this works. By killing vampires and killing guardians or even just corrupting them, the hylden get more and more power. And the hylden can traverse through time to posses for limited amounts of times. Any every time kain refuses the sacrifice, the pillars get weaker and weaker. There is no way to heal the pillars from the corruption with our the true spirit reaver which was the vampire last weapon they built specifically to restore not only the pillars but also the scion of balance. Ever since ariels murder, the pillars are doomed to eventually fall, and not just get corrupted, but complete become undone and the portal to the demon world will open. Without the spirit reaver, and a healed scion of balance,, the hylden would win every time no matter what they do.
At that time, Vorador knew nothing about Raziel, except that he emerged from the Sarafan Stronghold and was present at the Pillars at the moment of their corruption, so he had no real reason to trust him and give him that information. Likewise, Raziel had no idea Vorador was the one who forged the Reaver, so he had no reason to ask him back then. If Vorador had told Raziel about Janos and the heart during their first encounter, it would've made no sense to go after Kain, because neither of them knew the heart was inside him at that time. If anything, it would've led Raziel to the Avernus Cathedral instead. But let's assume Raziel still goes and kills Kain anyway, because reasons and because it's what was supposed to happen in the second timeline anyway. He'd still have no idea Kain had the heart, so Raziel would've probably resumed his journey in Soul Reaver 2 as usual, all the way to the point where he was supposed to enter the Reaver, and his story would simply end there. Janos's resurrection never takes place until the third time paradox introduced at the end of SR2, which would've never happened because the second time paradox, introduced by Raziel sparing Kain at the stronghold, also didn't happen.

Vorador told Raziel the first time they meet that he didn't trusted him and he showed that he was one of the few that was aware that Raziel was both champions that made him even more cautious of Raziel In here Raziel seems more willing to play in the Vampires side while also wanting answers from Janos, plus unlike 30 years ago, this time Vorador is the last vampire (aside from Kain) and when Moebius army finds him no one will try to revive Janos so this is also a last ditch play. If Raziel killed Kain in the stronghold he would kill future Kain, not the present one that was still a baby, the future pillars were already shattered, the current ones were already tainted as shown before when Future Kain explains that as he was born Nupraptor infected the circle with his madness including the newborn Kain. Also Raziel had no way to know that Kain had the heart of Darkness. Mortanius was the one that told him and he simply wouldn't give him that information when he had yet to create the Vampire Kain which he only does 30 years later, since present Kain was still a baby (he wasn't aware that there was a Kain from the future walking around that time). If somehow that scenario played out for some reason, Janos would very likely realize something was up with the (physical) Soul Reaver and that Raziel needed the Blood Reaver so he would need to go to the past through Moebius timestream devices that Moebius would make sure to send Raziel into the Sarafan time while Janos to the end of Blood Omen time so you can imagine how things will play out. Janos gets possessed by the Hildren, Raziel resumes his SR2 journey meeting past Janos, his Sarafan self and ends trapped in the Reaver without Kain to save him.
I think in this entire series, Janos is the only character to treat Raziel with any kindness without intention of betraying him, Even Shakespeare knew to lighten up the mood with more then character who weren't constant jerks XD

So in BO2, it is possible that Vorador wasn't ressurected, but infact was never dead and that Moebius crusade to eliminate all vampires didn't go so well.
Unlike Dumah, Janos wasn't technically dead and when Raziel revived him he seemed to have no memories from the time in between, so I'd guess his soul was as comatose as the rest of him.
Here's something that never made sense to me and maybe a plot hole but Ariel don't seem to remember him I'm guessing because when they Shuffle time about two times last game show is shuffled their memories around changing things so that makes sense if Ariel doesn't remember him or meeting him for the first time but vardour seems to remember him just perfectly
Janos knew who he was despite having never met him, because of the prophesies... Vorador might have "known" him in the same manner. Alternately, time might have adjusted itself differently for different people... Vorador had a lot more meaningful interactions with him than Ariel did, so it'd be a lot easier for Ariel to forget about him.

I agree that BO2 is a crappy addition to the overall lore, but its also the only game with any female vampires (there was 1 other female vamp besides Umah in the game, but she was only shown in 1 scene in the background).
There were Voradors brides in Blood Omen 1, even though they were only 2D enemy sprites. There were 2 female vampires in BO2, Umah and the red dress wearing one in the Cabal Sanctuary. And BO2 IS official cannon, even though it was initially created as a mere "adventures of Kain" plugin to cash in on a successful Eidos franchise at the time.

No. This takes place near the end of the Blood Omen 1 era. Human Raziel was long dead, and Kain wouldn't raise him as a vampire until some time after the Pillars collapsed.

And where exactly did you get that from? He specifically mentions that he created the blade but that he doesn't know what sorceries the 'others' put on it. That implies more than one ancient vampire since we know the whole reaver thing was organised by the ancients. Even in the some murals that Raziel visits where Vorador appears, he's shown to be with more than one ancient vampire. Plus Janos himself says that Vorador has lost much at the hands of the humans, implying that he's had plenty of relationships of various kinds that were taken from him. It's not impossible that one of those might have been with an ancient vampire.
In this timeline, the young kain destroy human guardians of pillars . On the other hand, the ghost raziel destroy the original vampire guardians and absorb the element power ! Without element power and guardians to defend and support pillars , at last the pillars got crumble！
Not really, it's the current pillar guardians that matter, that's why Kain had to sacrifice himself to restore the pillars even though Ariel wasn't corrupted.
why not email the people who produced the game? It's a bloody long shot but companies do listen to their fans from time to time, who knows, you could have just come up with the perfect way of them capping off the story AND earning twice as much money as they should do :P

Vorador says "nearly 5 centuries ago" and "5 centuries ago" when Raziel meets him in the swamp. He never says 600 years in soul reaver 2.
