Consciously, he actually believes that he won, because he *cannot* accept that he lost. That would shatter his ego, it would expose the reality that he cannot accept that he's not the unbeatable winner that he needs to be.
Once you understand this, his actions and crazy claims become crystal clear... Telling himself that he created the 'greatest economy ever' when in actuality he inherited a good economy and crashed it would be too much. Accepting that failure after posing as the greatest businessman ever would simply crush him, so he tells himself the story, and he tells his worshippers the stories, just so he can hear them cheer for him (replacing the love he never got from Fred Sr.).
So no, he *cannot* stop exaggerating. He *needs* to feel that he's better than his opponents, whether its true or not.... and if he loses to them... he tells himself that he won anyway.

Politics in the U.S is a circus. Kinda embarrassing that those two are our options. At the end of the day, the U.S is too divided, not united. Whichever side of the coin you call, divided is exactly how both parties want us.
I don't like Harris, but I'm 100% voting for her. Absolutely have to vote for Trump's strongest opponent. His 1st presidency was too chaotic & destructive. Round 2 would be less chaotic but more destructive. Worst outcome would = Trump.
Give me 3 solid examples of how the Trump presidency was “destructive and chaotic.” The last 4 years have been destructive and chaotic as far as the state of our country.. which has put us in the worst economic state (inflation) we’ve ever seen.
