17 or 18 yr old high school church going girl who is drawn to children and wouldn't hurt a fly knows the difference between right and wrong...we learn that in the sandbox...common sense tells me she took that child's last breaths ...threw her in a hole in the backyard and went on about her business...I don't believe for a moment that baby was still born

Defendants are not supposed to show emotion while on trial, but when they do people make judgements. If they show tears then people say it's fake, if they don't show emotion they say the person doesn't care. So to me I don't even bother with that because they can't win with people no matter what.

On defense side I am distressed that they didn’t bring in testimony from an eating disorder specialist. Eating disorders destroy your life. She had all the symptoms and actions of a teen with an eating disorder. This would have explained her obsession with losing weight after the pregnancy and the texts. Her mother’s enabling of that disorder further made it impossible for her to get well. Eating disorders cause you to lie and not think about your health and disregard anything but being the perfect person to live up to society’s and parental expectations. It’s a very all consuming disorder. I know because I was in its grip for 20 years. Before you all write back and say it doesn’t make you kill your child. I am not offering it as an excuse. Just something that should have been looked at as to her state of mind before, during and after pregnancy.
I do not know based on the evidence if she killed her child or not. Unfortunately no one but Skylar will ever know the truth.

of using birth control but she should have aborted it early on or given the child up for adoption. A spoiled little girl who was
trying to control life but she failed. IDKnow what punishment she deserves but we've got 2 States that I know of who allow

This reminds me too much of the Anthony trial. I don't think she is going to be held accountable for her baby's murder, not that I don't think she did it, but there are other charges she will probably get time for.

I didn't catch the whole trial yet. Why, if she didn't want the baby, didn't she get an abortion? If so, couldn't she do this anonymously? Was it illegal in the state where she is from? Did she carry this baby to term? I have so many questions....I will be looking at previous vids but can anyone answer....just cuz I can't wait...sorry?

She was 32 to 35 weeks along when she went to the doctor on April 26. A week prior to that she searched online "what happens at a ob/gyn appointment when your pregnant" the state knows only for 100% that she knew she was pregnant on April 26. No one except Skylar knows when she knew she was pregnant before that point. In Ohio you can only have a abortion up to 27 weeks. That is the last week of your 6 months pregnancy and last week of your 2nd trimester.

@@davidhaney1394 yes, we know, but she definitely could have gotten a pregnancy test from the store. I think she wanted birth control pills cause she thought if she took them they would kill her baby. Really sad...Too many girls and boys ready to have sex but not handle the consequences.

Robin P I believe she did...she knew she was pregnant...the mistake she made was going to the doctors for birth control...she didn’t want to go...her mother made her go...Sklyar had no idea that a pregnancy test is required before obtaining birth control.... she was cornered and had to give a urine sample or no birth control....her mother would find out for sure if she didn’t get the Pill. Skylar knew exactly what she was doing. I will always believe she killed her baby. I hope the jury paid attention to the Prosecution during closing statements.....from start to finish they spoke to all the FACTS concerning Skylar’s intentions and plans....🙏🏻praying that Skylar is held accountable for killing her baby and burying the little body under dirt and a heavy flower pot.

She is so guilty of all these things and by her own admission. How come she can looks so "outraged" now but didn't have that outrage in her interrogation? Its because she is guilty that's why; all of her behavior also supports her confession of murder. I can't believe that her family allowed her to be interrogated without an atty but justice will be so well served by the guilty verdict here.
