7:49 always really respect how willing you are to show your mistakes in these videos
Amazing. Do you ever do special effects for movies? Seems like an outfit like Weta could use someone like you for their model work.
No I don't but it would be a lot of fun to try! I love watching the Tested videos where Adam Savage goes to the Weta Workshops! It's so intriguing!
@@BoulderCreekRailroad Hope over the fence and come visit us! Weta has awesome tours!
The amount of patience to do something like this must be out of this world😐
lol... yeah it does require quite of lot of patience! Especially making all those rooms for the inside!
So after 20 minutes of watching this amazing build process, we get 5 seconds of the actual tour of the finished product. How about an encore?
I love the fine details of the interior especially. You do great work! Love to see more.
Fantastic job! I'm staggered by your superhuman patience.
how much is rent and when can i move in?
stunning work, luke!
lol... I hear it's pretty cheap... Apparently the neighbors are a bit rowdy!
Luke Towan if I made that I would put my lizard or a mouse in there (I don’t have mice btw)
AWESOME.
This is absolutely incredible! I was curious, you've made so many beautiful models. Do you keep everything you build?
Most of what I've made I keep but some of the older models eventually get dismantled to either make space or to build new models. This high rise building wont be going anywhere though, it's one of my favorites!
Luke Towan Can you make a small video of your museum at home? I bet you have dedicated a room for all your models?
Great video, as always
Great video!!
Suggestion: heritage steam locomotive depot
This is an amazing model you have made! I have been watching our videos for years now, and you never cease to amaze me. I am currently building a model railroad and our guides are what I turn to for all of my scenery! thank you for all of your amazing videos!
Luke has shown me that there is a huge difference between people who just build models and people who are serious about building models.
I had a bacon in my hand when i started watching this video. When the video was finished, i found myself still holding the bacon in my hand. This is what I call "Immersive".
I like how he says he didn't bother putting many details on the interiors, then paints very specific details like different color books on the bookshelf and wrinkles on the bed sheets lol.
I almost want play with that building on my floor and play with it like a kid
You are without a doubt an ARTIST !!!! Greetings from Denmark !
owe man - you blew me away with the level of details to this model.. bit pricey but what a challenge.. I took bits from your video anyway.. like how you done the lights.. I want to learn that myself.. very interesting.. thanks for sharing...

Oh lord I've found a quick kits fan
Luke Towan : Makes a real looking high rise.
Me : Struggles with Lego.
That's sad
😂😂😂
This made me laugh so hard 😂😂😂
"If you’ve ever wanted to build an ultra-realistic high rise apartment building then this video is for you! I can’t imagine there’d be many people with such a desire… unless of course you’re a real estate mogul or a model railroader!" Or an architecture student. They have to build models too Luke ;)
True XD
And you rested on the seventh week..You have a God given talent and patience ♥️
Amazing. A testament to your patience and material knowledge.
RUclips had zero reason to recommend me this. But I aint mad.
I think movies need to start using models again. Our eyes sre too use to cgi to be fooled by them anymore.
The latest Blade Runner is all scale models for the city scapes and it's amazing. Scale models are certainly used these days as a lot of film makers realize pure CGI just don't look right often.
I must agree with that, it's realy hard to make CGI look that good, and old movies with actual models is a pice of art in it's own that can not realy be replaced by computer modelling.
You don't notice 95% of the CGI in movies
@10:13 that's just cruel. All the other figures in that building are blind and cannot see the detail you have created.
I thought you built the model structure bigger than yourself at first and then I realised😆 that’s awesome.
The fact you went the extra mile to 3d print exterior parts for the building is just amazing!
i'm sitting here for 15 minutes, before i'm asking myself why i'm watching someone build a miniature building. But i can't stop. I have no interest in making this myself, but i cannot, not watch it
This is me on all model building channels, no way would I have the patience or steady hand for it, so I admire those that do.
Dear Luke,
We tried to contact you know via several ways, but we did not received a reply unfortunately. I understand you are busy, but your material is beautiful reason why I won 't give up.
I am editor at 24trains.tv and I would like to see if it is possible to have some of your video’s on our platform. How we can get in touch with you privately to discuss the details?
Thanks in advance for your reply and keep up the good work!
Many greetings,
Fabian
Beautiful craftsmanship. You took what was already a nice kit and turned it into something special. What a pleasure it was to see the final product!
I have been following your videos for over a year now. May have watched all your videos more than once. The detailing that you do and narrated is so wonderful. I have lot of interest is art and your models stand on top in my list. 😊
Expert level.
