I genuinely think one day I will have this kind of relationship. My whole being has being crying out for something like this to happen, whether I have realised it or not. I am meant for it.
Sorry I don't mean to seem cocky. I just NEED this to happen because I know that deep down I am pure love and crazy sexuality and divine sensuality. Loneliness is really missing yourself: you are not expressing yourself in loneliness, although maybe some do because there can be a beauty in painful love at a distance. I thought something like this would happen to me last summer because I had had an amazing spiritual transformation but it didn't because I just kind of disconnected and got lost. But this summer I feel I more than want it I need it. There is a fire in me now for it which you need to really pursue your life and need let it go astray whereas I had become more like water in the past - pure, deep, alive, sensual, but perhaps too gentle with life. Life is something that needs a certain amount of attack - like Elio, if you think about it, pursues Oliver more so than Oliver who is more distant and secretive at the start. I deserve a great love story, of that one amazing summer. Oh I'm just going to really beg God because the universe does listen and if I demand and desire it with all my heart things start to work mysteriously for you. I don't know how but this is my life and my life, I promise you, will be a song.
I was watching Call me by your name yesterday... Today I'm watching edits about Elio and Oliver all day... I think I'm obsessed with it, but I don't mind it at all... This movie gave me this weird feeling that I can't describe...
Thank you!! I think the same about Lana's songs and I felt that the song could fit CMBYN because of that, because the film itself is painfully beautiful.
I know I’m late and probably not the first person to say this, but this movie draws out such a strong feeling of nostalgia. It’s missing a place I never visited. It’s staring at dates on which I wasn’t even born yet. It’s aching memories of a life I never lived. And it hurts. It hurts so much.

It’s November of 2023. This is my favorite movie. Perhaps of all time. Seeing these scene after six years still rips me open and exposes who I truly am. This movie. Describes the feeling of love and what the consequences of love can give when it is wrong to happen at a certain time. Especially, with the situation of Elio and Oliver, considering of age and sexual orientation. As we all know, love can't be stopped when it happens to be felt. Love is a feeling of every emotions, colliding to become one. They were both confused with the feeling until it grew more and more. To the point, they have to be away from each other, due to fear. Their love was something magical. We can't really romanticize such relationship, when its also inappropriate when it comes to what I have mentioned in the first sentence. The summer they spent, wasn't what they regretted. It was the summer, where they felt something beyond the euphoric line. The movie is truly, hurtful, yet beautiful. It is honestly, one of the good movies out there. It gives a moral lesson and I suppose every each one of us know what it is already.

This movie is a masterpiece & you are the actors. But there's something about Timmy & Armie which seems so surreal. Is it possible to just act & not fall in love with each other? If so then how? From all the scenes, intimacy, touches, kisses.. it's not "just great acting" .. there are real raw feelings & emotions involved which is why we all could actually feel so connected to the movie & the actors playing it.
Theres also gonna be a sequel to CMBYN But it wont be the same like the book. I've been watching this video on loop... It's been 2 years since this film completely changed my life, the way I view art, films, the way a story and its characters can have an impact on me... I feel like if I stop watching this video, I'll somehow die. Like that part of me that brightens up, bubbles up and gets into a knot in my throat will suddenly disappear and then I won't know what to do with myself. It's 2a.m now, and all I can think of, is the next book, Find Me, coming out in a few days, and I keep hearing those few words over and over in my mind - "You'll kill me if you stop "

Difference being, I did have a happy ending.
Met him at 17, and had a 48 year romance /partner, till death did us apart.
Man....I prey in my next life I am as lucky.
so sorry for your loss. stay strong. best of wishes to you ❤
This movie had such an impact on me I can’t stop thinking about it even a year after first seeing it
Will never stop waiting for a sequel of this masterpiece
Really beautiful work. That must have been fun picking out the clips.
Cor cordium
The chemistry between them is impressive. So beautiful.
whoa the parallels between the song and the clips
It is incredible how the lyrics fit the movie so well, that's why I chose it.
I am obsessing over Elio and Oliver. I don't think this obsession will end until I get a closure on them through the sequel. This Movie is an art, it's direction, screenplay the entire treatment is an absolute art
Where can I watch it other than Netflix?
@@hyejinacruise2167 I have watched it on Netflix only. In my country we have only on Netflix
Good acting on their part and maybe short lived emotions which disappeared as soon as it had been all finished
One of the best and most beautiful movies, of all time!!!!
I lived this romance. It ended a month ago. My heart still aches.. hoping someday I'll be happy again.
How I wish it was Oliver and Elio, with a forever happy ending :( :)
Have you read the book?? If not then you're missing the whole point
if u read the 2nd book the sequel they find each other again and stay with each other that’s when oliver finally leaves his wife for elio .
@@Afternoonsun-c9y the end of the book is the worse end i have ever read. Really, i cried i cried because the end is just dreadful
Is it not a happy ending
Theres also gonna be a sequel to CMBYN But it wont be the same like the book. It was suppose to come out in 2020 But because of covid the movie might come out in 2021, But theres still hope that it could come out in 2020 during Christmas. And yes, in the book they end up together again after 20 years.
Why do I found this perfection only now? How can you make me crying so long time after the movie? Feelings are eternals... Thank you.
Well... I do not know what to say, I am deeply grateful for your comment. Thank you so much for appreciating this, I mean it!
Excellent movie..😊
I am not crying. My eyes are just aimed at by the sun
this movie wasn’t long enough. i need more
Lana and this whole movie go together so easily and comfortably, like they were made for each other.
I love this movie so much! It's unhealthy how much I love it!
OMG, I'm crying! I love this movie and I will always love it, it was the most perfect job my eyes have ever seen, I hope Call me by your name 2 will be released until next year! while I wait for the sequel, I watch this film more than a thousand times, if necessary! Every day I watch videos and interviews about Elio and Oliver, they are perfect!😭🙏❤️
Where can I watch the movie ?
@@ziad3698 I watched it on netflix, but it probably has it on other platforms like amazon…

One of the best movies I have seen. Very emotional ending.
the first time i watched this movie i cried for 30 min then rewarded it and now i have to watch it like once a week or my life isn't complete
A perfect pairing of film and music. I love it. Thank you. Greetings from England 🇬🇧.
Maravillosa historia, interpretada de forma bella, parece real,en el fondo creo que fue algo real para los dos, ojalá se reúnan de nuevo
Yo tambien lo espero
can anyone explain why i can't seem to stop myself from watching call me by your name clips? 🥺🥺🥺
this movie is filled with emotions i wanted to feel myself and the whole acting looks so natural
it was like a watching a memory you never had instead of a movie ❤
now i want to visit crema italy ugh 🥺
I've been watching this video on loop... It's been 2 years since this film completely changed my life, the way I view art, films, the way a story and its characters can have an impact on me...
I feel like if I stop watching this video, I'll somehow die. Like that part of me that brightens up, bubbles up and gets into a knot in my throat will suddenly disappear and then I won't know what to do with myself.
It's 2a.m now, and all I can think of, is the next book, Find Me, coming out in a few days, and I keep hearing those few words over and over in my mind - "You'll kill me if you stop "
Is that book a sequel?
1:11 that smile is so subtle I didn’t even notice it until now 😭😭😭
this is the most beautiful thing i’ve ever experienced. the beauty and art of love and life.
And this is something way too much, giovanni, really! I have no words to show how grateful I am for your thought...thank you so so much. If anything I create can reach somehow the viewer, if I am able to transmit anything, then I think I did something good.
I feel what you feel.
May it live with me forever.
Dean Clift your work it’s absolutely amazing !! .. im so happy you seen my comment ! video games its my fav song of all time and this movie is pure art ... the way you created this and brought it to life it’s just so fascinating to me ... keep doing what you love ! you’re amazing xx

Lana's songs go so well with this movie!!
One of my favorite songs (Video Games) by Lana combined with one of the most beautiful movies I have seen so far.
Love this clip. Well done @Dean Clift !

This video made me watch cmbyn
To think I was looking forward to watch a fanmade gay edit of video games
I came out with a love story that will stay for me for life
4 years and still this video tugs my heart strings
How much i watch this movie...but still it remains new and fresh... ❤
The shit that gets me everytime is the way they just look at eachother 🤧😭🥺
As someone who has been listening nonstop to Lana del Rey for weeks, and watched CMBYN twice this week, I thank you.
Most heart aching part of the movie for me was the phone call at the end where Elio whispers to Oliver “elio elio elio elio” 🥺
This movie is the perfect depiction of something that seems very real but yet elusive. LIFE!
Una de las más hermosas películas que he visto..
Estuve en instropeccion por mucho tiempo después de verla..
El amor en cualquiera de sus expresiones es hermoso..
Y qué decir de la banda sonora increíble.
I watched this movie like 2 years ago and I still go back watching edits of it.
if i don’t have this kinda love in my life i dont want it
Perioddd
Me too.. im such a hopeless romantic.. I want pure deep love.. the kind only found in books and movies.. the kind that seems to perfect to be real...

I haven’t watched CMBYN in a while and I read the book in over 3 months ago but when I saw this the feeling of a place I don’t recognize but felt known, flooded through me. This movie changed me in more ways I can explain
The song's called Video Games by Lana del Rey

The first time I seen this movie was over winter break of last year. I watched it three more times over the rest of my break. Idk I just wanted a happy ending 😭

OH COME ON I DID NOT WANT TO CRY NOW.
because this is pure beauty. the way you put all together, mixed with movie sounds... I am so grateful for this. THANK YOU.
Lo mejor de esta película, para mí, ha sido la conversación que tiene con su padre casi al final de la película... Ojalá todos hubiéramos tenido un padre así o parecido!
I could never have enough of this movie
